What a cool spot!! Upstairs has indoor/outdoor seating. Dogs are welcome on the patio. Big selection of beers and ciders on tap. Downstairs there is the Whiskey Barrel Lounge! (I haven't been but it's on my list.) There's also Public House Pinball! A bunch of different pinball machines, old school arcade games as well as darts and shuffleboard! For 10$ it's FREE PLAY on ALL games! You can bring some food and drink inside too! Your tab upstairs transfers downstairs which is cool!! I got the Valley Pub burger (made with wagyu beef) and it was pretty good. Could have used a bit more aioli but that's just personal preference! Delicious house cut fries and crispy chicken strips! Clean bathrooms too! We had a blast and I can't wait to go back and bring friends!! Beautiful establishment!

Seems like a great place for pool and a beer. The tables look really nice. However, we weren't inspired by the menu so decided to play it safe with splitting the onion rings and sliders. The pork wasn't dry, which puts it above a lot of the competition, but the execution was careless, if not hilarious. One of the 3 sliders barely had any meat. And, with 2 drinkers in the bar and one other couple in the place, why were they in such a rush? It seemed like she was really busy but there was no reason to be. The bartender...could've been better. Brought me the wrong drink and we just didn't feel welcome.

First time the wife and I tried midway. We both have lived in Oregon city all our 58 years and frequent different bars to play pool listen to music have a few drinks with some food and play a little video poker. We enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality of the bar tender. Yes I have to say we will be back to play pool and have a bite. The street tacos are awesome.

I stopped in this afternoon with my boyfriend to shoot some pool and kill some time before meeting up with family. He's never been in before, I haven't been in in several years. We are pool players, and were hoping to spend some time in a local spot that has built a reputation of welcoming the pool community and running quality tournaments on well maintained tables.

When we arrived, there were a total of 5 other patrons in the bar. The bartender immediately chased us down while we were looking at the back room and told us that we couldn't be back there or play back there because there were no security cameras, despite the fact that there were other patrons already in that area. My boyfriend complimented the quality of balls they use for league and tournaments, she told him that they are too expensive for us to play with and exaggerated the price. We have a set of those balls at home and know how much they cost. We played 2 racks and decided to leave. When we went to exchange the set of balls for our ID, we were warned to only take our own from the pile.

Altogether, we were in the establishment for twenty minutes, were treated with open disrespect and rudeness with absolutely no grounds, and borderline accused of being criminals, all from someone that we've never seen before, in an empty bar. We were never offered drinks or food. This bartender has completely ruined our experience, and we will not be returning. I hope that management makes some changes. Actively driving away business from an empty bar on a weekday doesn't strike me as an optimal business strategy.

Edited to add This occured between 1-1:30 in the afternoon of September 9, 2023. There were 5 other people in the bar. We were stone cold sober, didn't approach the bar EXCEPT to get a rack of balls, AFTER being chased down for looking at the back room, were NEVER offered food or drink of ANY kind, and had just arrived from a 2 hour drive from the coast. Check your security footage. I had received assurances from the local tournament director that this had been handed, but apparently poor customer service is a bigger issue...

Went into play poker won several hundred dollars. Got up to cash the ticket. The bartender counted it back to me super fast, passing from one of her hands to her other hand. I didn't see any of the bills that she counted. I replied what? She laid the stack on the counter and I had to recount the bills. I suggested that maybe in the future she counted more slowly because it made me feel as though she was being sneaky. I said this very nice and constructively thinking that maybe she was missing out on her potential in tips because she didn't realize this. She replied to me that's just how she counts money. Perhaps it was her intent? She's rolled her eyes to her coworker and they laughed. I ordered two spanish coffees and a chicken nacho she said $18 I gave her $29. I then went and sat back down to play poker. My friend looked over at me and told me that she thought I said that nicely. Because of the bartenders response I thought maybe I had made a mistake but then she walked into the poker room and sat next to me I thought she was going to apologize and so did my friend. Instead she said, "I forgot to ring you up for your nachos, so yeah you owe that." No apology, no compensation for her error, she just stood up while rolling her eyes at my friend and left. The nacho was bland and absence of any real cheese, just some white runny liquid. I was super hungry so I ate most of it anyway. Before I left, I changed $100 bill for twenties. She counted it back to me so fast that the customer next to me said "what?" I just looked at her in total disbelief. She then mocked me, and said back to the other customer, "I guess I counted it too fast. Haha!". Not only did she disrespect me she made fun of me for getting offended. Bottom line.... bad food, horrible, despicable, unacceptable borderline...

Went in for their Valentines dinner special read the sign “please seat your self” and we did. After looking around at a nearly empty establishment and one other couple dinning I’m the booth next to us I noticed they had menus and started to wonder after ten minutes if maybe the waitress is on a break. I started to stare at the bartender in desperation to at least get drinks ordered and he eventually walked past us to say he would be right with us going up to the pool tables and ask the waitress that is drinking and playing pool with her friends to come take our order. She took her time to get to us and ask what we wanted to drink, I in told her what to drink and quickly asked for the dinner special. I then noticed that the other couple had not even had their order taken yet. She never took any notes in fact had to come back twice to ask what dressing we want and then later about how we want our prime rib cooked. When we got our food the obviously earlier prepared prime rib was cold (like the fat was hard) absolutely terrible! I asked my girlfriend if we should just leave at that point. To make matters even worse the dinner special included two glasses of merlot and chocolate cake that we never received. I will never be going back there again, terrible service and the worst food ever. I ended up going to Cheesecake Factory after that to...
