I have never considered leaving a review for a fast food restaurant. It's a 50/50 chance that you'll have good food, good service, etc, due to many factors.
But let me tell you about this Wendy's tonight -- I had a rough day at work and was on my way home late, really wanting an easy meal instead of cooking. So I pull in line at the Wendy's. As per usual at this location, there's a long line of cars and a long wait during prime rush hour dinner time. I wait in line for about 20 mins before being able to place my order. Wait another 5-10 mins to get to the window. They tell me my total and I reach for my wallet. Except it isn't in my purse. I slowly start to panic as I realize I have lost my wallet. I ask the cashier if they take tap pay - he says yes so I go to pull up the app I use on my phone. Except for some reason my profile isn't saved so I can't use it. As a last ditch effort I ask if they can just manually enter my card info because I have a pic of my card. He leaves the window to check with a coworker and is gone for quite a while. I begin to consider just driving away because I know I'm holding up the line and I'm getting closer to being sure they CAN'T manually enter my card. Just as I'm about to leave the coworker/manager comes back to the window and says they can't do that but they've just comped my meal and he hands me my food. I'm stunned and say thank you and of course he says you're welcome and as I drive away I burst into tears. I am an overly anxious human when it comes to social interactions and I am still processing this event.

We ordered a biggie bag and upgraded the fries to Baconator fries which the fries came right, the double stack bacon burger for whatever reason was a chicken patty and not a double bacon cheeseburger, then they forgot the 4pc. chicken tenders/nuggets. We had also upgraded the drink to a chocolate frosty and that came out right. My girlfriend ordered a small or regular fry and a BLT crispy chicken sandwich the 2.79 one or whatever and the fries were missing as well. We saw the fries and nuggets missing but the Wendy's associate didn't give us a receipt or even offer one. We went back around anyways which took about 20 to 30 minutes and they gave us the fries and nuggets. Finally got home another 15 mins later and go to eat my Double cheeseburger with Bacon from my Biggie Bag and its a chicken bacon sandwich . sigh First this Wendy's is mostly closing atleast 2 hours earlier than their posted times at 12am, instead closing at 10pm or even before then. 3 times now me and the girlfriend have been in line and had them shut off all the drive thru lights and say they are closed right before we finally get to order and once was about 10 minutes before 10pm on a Friday.... Between never knowing if they are going to be open or if they are going to close right before we order by a car or two after waiting for 15 plus minutes and completely messing up the order.... idk feels like fate saying "hey don't go here anymore." First stop was the restroom before dining. After looking at the appearance of the bathroom, I should have taken that as a sign to leave. Wendy's cares about cleanliness and our health but yet the toilet paper is laying on the filthy floor. Once done, I met my family out front to order. I mentioned to the kid that the toilet paper was laying on the floor and very unsanitary. He said he'd get on it as soon as he was done taking our order. This poor kid, a new employee kept apologizing and seemed very overwhelmed. He was doing a fantastic job, however his support staff were standing around socializing and complaining how busy it was. It wasn't busy. There was a group of about 8, my husband, son and myself and then 3 cars in drive thru. A gentleman in the larger party had to come to the counter and get his order four different times. The staff in the back acted as it was a huge inconvenience to her as she is the one who messed up. Our order was ready within minutes but, we were missing 1 item. It took them people in the back (about 4 of them) 22 minutes, yes 22 mins, to get my son's missing item. We are in town for the next 4 days for a baseball tournament and we will be sure to avoid this place and let all the other teams know to avoid it. As convenient as it is that Wendy's is just right there by the field, we will go the extra mile up the road for a better option. If you're looking for a quick bite, I'd suggest you go elsewhere.
