Fat Cat Pizza — Restaurant in Oregon

Not being from the area I had read about this place on a couple different sites that highly reccomended this pizza place so I was really excited to check it out. When we first drove up we were a little apprehensive about the seating capacity. My father, 3 year old, my husband and myself were all going to be dining in. They have a couple smaller booth spaces along the wall. The gentlemen that took our order was very courteous. We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and also the taco cat pizza. Our airbnb was 45 minutes away so taking it back "home" wasn't an option...we had to sit in separate booths to accommodate the pizzas and cheese bread we ordered. Both pizzas were very tasty. A different gentleman (possibly the owner) he was counting out the drawer for the day checked in on us towards the end of our meal to ensure everything tasted good. It appeared as though most people that were coming in don't dine in.. Overall the pizzas were fantastic! The cheesebread left a little more to be desired. We visited the coast for the 4th of July weekend decided to stop by and try the food. On July 3rd we came to fat cat to try the food. They refused to serve us because they didn’t have the “staff” but had no customers and several employees! The manager was angry at the fact that we had ordered food. He pretty much refunded us the money and told us to kick rocks. I can totally understand that it can be stressful working in the food industry. I understand having the right to refuse service. What I can’t understand is why be so rude to customers who are trying to give your place a try? We were nothing but respectful towards the employees but the situation was a lost cause. The manager was hangry at the fact that 10 of us ordered food. Owner missed out on a $200+ order just because they didn’t feel like making the food. Most unprofessional manager ever!!! Really great service and pizza! I'm a pizza fanatic and I love hometown pizza places! And this place! I loved their pizza! First we showed about 20 mins before close and they were totally chill with a up beat attitude! Their hot wings were perfect! Love glazed hot wings but I love breaded hot wings more! You gotta try them with their ranch!! And now their pizza! It had the right amount of toppings which was good! But I think my favorite part of it was the pizza sauce and the crust! Mmm! I know some pizzas being reheated up ain't the best but our pizza wasn't bad reheated! I extremely recommend this place! I wish I didn't live so far from them!
