Pretty good, easy parking and location. I've always been a fan of real dollar stores, not those fake ones called dollar general. One thing to watch out for the is quantity in the packages as they reduce the amount you get from time to time and for the same dollar it's a price hike in reality. For instance in this and other dollar tree's everywhere you used to get 80 wetwipes for 1$, now all you can find is 40 for the dollar, doubling the price in effect. Chips are 8.5 oz for plain tortilla which is a bit better with Fred Meyer cheap chips per ounce but the potato chips are I think 5.8 or so oz. per package which is more per ounce than walmart or maybe freddies for a larger bag at higher price but lower price per oz. So always look for the standard sizes like gallons of water for 1$ but is not any savings over walmart or freddys but easier for average people to compare deals. Same goes for things like tunafish, you can usually get on sale at other stores the same can for less than $1, baking soda per box is the same story with non brand name stuff. Hand sanitizer is another one, reduce the package oz per dollar usually makes it actually MORE than a per oz. cost than other stores. I can get canned soup for usually less than a dollar at walmart and other places too, so be...
Read moreGreat prices of course, if they have what you're looking for. Shelves seem to be fuller now than they were a year ago. Pretty good chocolate bars for $1.25. Cookies are another great value. And dog treats. I like this store.
Update May 2023:
Shopped here again today. Shelves were full to the brim for the first time since before the Pandemic, that I ever noticed anyway.
What I appreciate about Dollar Tree is they didn't shrink their product sizes like just about every other store has done (as a covert way to raise prices). They did raise their unit price to $1.25, honestly and transparently, during the Pandemic, but at least it was totally obvious.
Some of their top notch bargains are: frozen vegetables, chocolate bars (German product), outdoor solar lights, almond windmill cookies, lighters, wine glasses, chinaware, bleach, kitchen paper towels.
Things to avoid: some of their plastic container products are a bit flimsy. Check robustness of what you're considering before purchasing.
Overall: excellent bargains on good products when you know what you want before you walk in.
Update 11/4/22: stocked up here again today. Found everything I was...
Read moreVery rude employee Donna, according to receipt. She asked for next person in line, and said I'll take the next customer, she did not say this register is open (its always closed). I was after that customer but she did not specify she was opening the register line, only taking next customer otherwise I would've followed him to the other line. I simply voiced my concern, to which she did not acknowledge so I repeated myself that the problem is that she said she'd help the next customer, not this register is open. She left me with 3 items at the back of a long line already, and then proceeded to help people behind me first. Afterwards I voiced the above concern and she chased me out of the store complaining screaming almost top of her lungs across the parking lot at me about all the mean customers she's had. Not my problem why are you screaming at me about other customers. Please watch your wordage, very poor...
