I went through the drive thru ordered grilled chicken wasn't as described on the menu picture board , and broccoli beef got waaaay more broccoli and tiny couple of little nibbles of beef not any in my meal plus overly abundance of chow mein and the chow mein did not taste the same since I was there a long time ago over two years ago ,the chicken had more fat content on it and the only thing that was appetizing was the cheese Rangoons .so Panda Express need's new people who know how too cook and serve their customers and also they're supposed to be wearing hair nets and food handling safe hooves when serving up food to go and dinning in the restaurant ! They're in health code violations though over serving customers with tons of noodles and vegetables and less meats is seriously not healthy for someone looking for a leveled food consumption for eating as well they needs to ask customers if they want a 3 type serving of noodles or rice ! So the customers are not eating more than the other parts added to the meal ! So I truly tried calling to complain about the service and food issue and no answer at all with multiple attempts so I'll resume calling if unable to get thru them , I'll retry the following day before they open up or afterwards so this location is the one on Se 82nd ave near Johnson creek blvd in clackamas Oregon across From Home Depot . I say be on them making sure that they got your complete order correct go thru it in the parking lot as I did though everything looked OK until I got home from this location unfortunately I received way too much chicken than normal from long time ago so what was received was a two plate special instead of small Amount of chicken and more beef and little bit of broccoli 🥦 except the broccoli 🥦 was about close to equal to the chicken and too much noodles for myself too eat ! I gave 1 star unfortunately you can not give zero star's etc , I...
Read moreCOVID-19 WHILE WORKING (HV EID:1380970) first week of June 2021 I started to feel sick while working, I asked to be sent home early and be able to request off. my request was denied due to our store being "short staffed". they seemed to believe that i am lying about being sick, but anyway I keep pushing through with my nonstop coughs while still packing food, dealing with customers and being near my coworkers. I kept coughing, non stop puking, having random nose bleeds, and my sense of taste/smell was gone, also I barely was able to eat any foods. Nathan saw me puking in the restroom, Valerie also heard/saw me run to the restroom puking. Other Foh workers(Crystal, Winnie, Kaylee, Connie and many people I worked with for that week FoH/BoH) also heard me nonstop coughing and kept telling the managers to let me off, obviously declined. Juan told me to get tested but I was never able to due to not getting time off. both managers didn't care about my sickness/symptoms (breaking CDC guidelines)So most Foh workers decided to quit with me as it was the final straw as our managers would fake reports, randomly change schedules without notifying you. and verbally abusing us and being really demanding. Just lots of toxicity and breaking rules/policy. My voice matters program doesn't seem to work. 2 years of working here, it was a fun good workplace before covid. till this day my sense of smell hasn't come back, and about half my taste which will affect the rest of my life. hope both Paco and Wing are happy with their decisions. the people who quit with me can affirm this is true.(I've waited to post this review when I found a job)
Edit : it doesn't show all my photos I shared including my positive covid test results. I can't post a link in the review to show as it's against TOS but I can shared them in...
Read moreI've been to 13 panda expresses 🐼 throughout the country in my life. This one is the best I have seen by far. In my 3 categories it beats both the Lombard and Cascade Station locations.
Care: the estbalishment received a good (3) for cleanliness, the sitting area is well organized and clean but could use more frequent deep scrub and crevice check. The layout is well designed for a spacious seating experience; good (3). But the kitchen and display are immaculate (5) for cleanliness.
Quality: the establishment recieves a great (4) for food quality. Even during a lull at 3pm the recipes are holding up their flavor under the heat lamp (Beijing beef and orange chicken chosen for this review). The appetizers, Rangoon, received only an adequate (2) as they needed cycling. The quality of care by the atrendents was awesome (5) as they were very patient with me and properly transition tasks and accomadated mutliple customers at once. It is worth noting that despite this being fast food, my stomach did no swirling after a meal from this location.
Leadership: Panda expresses as a franchise needs a little help, though their leadership succeeded at this location they are still only a good (3) from me. Today's franchises are investing more in the corporate image while PE remains fairly slow to update their look or expand their healthy choices menu. PE still states that it is a Chinese food chain but most of the recipes are inspired by non-Chinese food culture. This is definitely an Asian American food chain and it should be proud to tout the hybrid recipes
To anyone who happens across this review and is new to the Panda Express experience, come to this location first. If you are new to Asian inspired recipes please go to a few of the reputable restaurants on 82nd before...
