I like the food, however, Iâm rating it 1 star because: I have tried to go on several of occasions and they were closed. They donât honor their own business hours. I called to get a quote on food. Later I go and they charged me more. The older bald gentlemen is deceiving. I called him out and he apologized. Wonder how many times he has gotten away with this. They have gotten my to-go order wrong numerous times and didnât really care to fix it.
12/28/19 - I went again and the gentleman proceeded to warn me that not all items on the menu were available. I asked which ones? He went on and on and on and explained what wasnât available. He named over 3/4 of the menu. It was quite hilarious actually. I went somewhere else. I keep coming back WANTING to give them my business, but it never works out lol
UPDATE 01/18/2022 - I hadnât been here since there was new ownership. I went today and the staff was amazingly kind and nice. The owner came out to check how the food was and AndrĂŠs (the person who took my order) was also very nice and respectful. The food was just as delicious and Iâm looking forward to finally becoming a regular customer at this establishment. Therefore, Iâm updating my review from 1 star âď¸ to 5 stars...
Read moreLomito's has excellent food! The empanadas are delicious! I especially like them pino al horno â every one I've had has been baked the perfect amount, and they're a good size! The sandwiches there are also really good. I've had the Chacarero, Lomito Palta, and Completo Chileno... And each one was outstanding (though I definitely prefer the Lomito Palta out of those three. The fries are good; in my opinion, they're not spectacular â just good, but I'm not there for the fries.
Every time I've been there, it's been clean and inviting. The staff is helpful and friendly. It definitely has a family feel. Be aware that the hours aren't always what you'd expect at an American eatery, and I've been there when they're out of what I wanted. To me, that speaks to the freshness of their food and just adds charm to the establishment.
This is a great place to get some yummy, fresh Chilean food, along with good service in a very quaint setting....

OVERVIEW - 5.0 Came here with my wife and daughter on a Saturday just hankering for Chilean or Argentine food, and really wanted to try a place we hadn't gone.
LOCATION - 5 Lomitos is located along the busy Center Street not too far from State Street and could be missed if not looking. It is inside a little strip mall.
PRICE - 5 I really enjoyed the price of the food. I felt like you get good quality for the price you pay.
PRODUCTS/SERVICES - 5 I ordered the special with the sandwich, a side of french fries and a drink for $9.99. The sandwich was Ave Malta, which included grilled chicken, avocado, tomatoes, and mayo.
POINTERS/PERKS - N/A I can't think of any pointers as this was the first time I had visit, but I'm sure there are most likely some pointers.
EMPLOYEES - 5 We were personally served by the owner himself. He was extremely helpful and friendly. The cashier...
