We go to Fox’s almost once a week for years!!! But this week was different …. bad different. My family loves going to Fox’s pizza!! The entire menu is delicious, not just the pizza. The entertainment can’t be beat and there is nothing as good as live music!!! Once in a while there is a hiccup like last Wednesday when the manager “Juan” unfairly picked on us. Our group of 6 went in for pizza and ordered 2 pizzas. One pizza for one couple came and after 15 minutes of waiting wondered when the other pizza was coming for the other 4 people. Our waitress said it was on its way. After 25 minutes it still had not arrived and we again asked the waitress where the other pizza was since the first couple was already done eating and she again said it would be ready in minutes. After 40 minutes of waiting we asked for the manager “Juan” and we explained to him what was going on and he asked why we were making such a big deal about it and said it would be done soon. We further complained to “Juan”, who was very, and I mean very unsympathetic to our situation. Juan never at any point explained why the pizza was so late in arriving nor did he offer any apology for its tardiness. But what Juan the manager did do was tell the waitress not to serve us anymore drinks. We had only had 3 drinks each since arriving there at 5:30 and it was now 7:30, with no pizza. 5 minutes later Juan went into the back and out he came finally with our pizza ( so a total of 45 minutes after the first pizza was served). Juan put it on the table and said “ there”. Again no explanation or dessert offer or discount offer. Sad how a bad manager named Juan , who is nothing more than a management bully, can ruin an evening between friends who are all retired seniors. We are each former business owners and would never have treated a customer ( a weekly customer) like Juan did…. it was dishonorable and I hope he isn’t the voice of the business because he is a poor representative. I wish I would’ve videoed the encounter. If he ever mistreats us again I guarantee I will be recording and posting it everywhere, people need to beware...
Read moreFirst things first: I LOVE foxs pizza and I mean specifically the pizza, the service is great as well but the management is a different story. This isnt a new problem but it's gotten worse and as of recent I doubt I'll ever eat inside the restaurant again. My family and friends of ours went to foxs for a holiday get together. The restaurant was empty and we sat down at a long table across from each other at 6:30 at night. We noticed another empty table in the dining room adjacent from us with more favorable seating. So, doing what any one else would of done we asked to move. The waitress who was so nice obliged and we moved tables. Everything was going smooth we ordered appetizers and we're looking at our menus when a manager came up to us and asked us "was the last table not good enough for you? We have a memorial here tomorrow morning that we need to set up for." Normally I would of let it slide cuz I'm a low key person but he said it in the nastiest way that it actually put us off from eating their. Foxes opens at 11a.m. I'm sure he would still be able to set up either in the morning later that night like I said it was only 6:30 and we didn't plan on staying for a very long time. Just a normal dinner and be in our way. So we confronted him and asked him what his problem was. He said we were causing a fire hazard and was even more rude than before. So we left. For future reference when Tony the manager is working I won't be eating there. Might still order a pizza for pick up, it's just easier then being hassled by bad management.
To be clear this is my pizza joint and the food is great so if you don't care about how you're treated then by all means go. But if you do, this isn't the place for you.
I never write google reviews but this...
Read moreWe have frequented Foxes Pizza in Orland for quite a number of years, and we recently had the absolute worst experience ever. They obviously sat us at their nickel seat, which is a booth next to a noisy open door to the pickup area. So, we decided to move over several seats. We waited, and waited, and waited, but, no one would wait on us. Meanwhile, several other groups of people also came in, and complained about not being seated. I asked several waitresses if we could please get waited on, they said we would be taken care of, but No One would wait on us. Perhaps we were just paying the price of having moved out of their nickel seat... Another waitress said someone would be with us shortly, but No One came. And meanwhile, other customers complained about dirty tables, only to be told that the bus boy had not come in today. And, there were several customers who came in after us who were already receiving their drinks. Just pathetic. After wasting 20 minutes trying to get waited on, we left. Even worse, I contacted the manager via phone, who obviously could have cared less, only to tell me they were short staffed today... Really! So why not let us know that ahead of time, instead of having us sit there for 20 minutes unserved!!! I also sent an email to the restaurant regarding this issue, and not surprisingly, never heard back. And, you would think they would take a hint, looking at their paltry 4 star Google rating, with all the other poor reviews regarding their terrible service... Again, Foxes could obviously care less about their customers... So, for what it's worth, I have to say, we'll definitely be finding pizza...
