I just had a delivery to pick up at this location today on New Years @ approximately 5:50 pm. I received a pick up to pick up food.. customer spent a little bit over $40 for his food. When I came inside the restaurant it was very crowded .. I went to the cashier, and let her know that I was there for a pick up order from DoorDash. The lady said it wasn't ready just yet. So I moved to the side so other customers can get their food ordered. There were 10 customers waiting for their food as well. While 3 other customers entered this location to pick up their food. I literally watched all 10 customers who were waiting get all their orders .. I asked the cashier is my delivery order ready? She stated no not yet. I still sat waiting for my order. As I am still waiting another customer comes in orders her food, then sit right next to me .. 3 minutes later, her food is given to her as all other customers food were. She was told Happy New Years and thanked for her business. While I still waited patiently again, I asked is my order ready? Remind you, I am a African American female. I waited over 30 minutes. Then to top it off the cashier marked the order as ready. When it wasn't. Unless it was ready, but because they was racist they didn't care enough about the customers whose order I was there for..they cared more about the color of my skin more than giving me the customer food as the time promised. I let my customer know just how racist these people were and just how they treated me on that basis of my skin color... that once she brought out my customers food instead of this cashier giving my food in my hands as I watched her greet all others customers. She sat 2 chairs down from me just to look me in my face ONLY to sit the customers food down in the chair that so many other customer done sat down in. She literally put the customers food order in the chair. Very, very, very racist and unprofessional. TO EVERYONE PLEASE BEWARE OF THESE IGNORANT UNPROFESSIONAL CASHIERS.. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS...

DO NOT EAT HERE! this used to be a place we loved, however our last experience will truly be the last. They are extremely rude and dont care about the customer fanbase they had grown over the years. They used to be considerate and kind and take pride but now they are completely rude. We placed an order to go and when we got home it was wrong. I called and they told me to come back and when i got there they told me they can give me half off to buy the order i originally ordered. This same situation has happened to everyone at some point and i guarantee you the solution is always come back in and well give you the right order and an apology. They should be mad at the employee who took the wrong order, he is responsible for you having to waste food in the first place. Nonetheless they made me feel like I was a crook for coming back to pick up the correct order, then after arguing that it should be free since I paid for it, they slammed the bag on the counter and goodbye. The woman who said she was the manager looked like she was 16 and had absolutely no management skills when it comes to customers. We ordered from there all the time and gave them lots of business and even recommended to our friends, now we will let them know how they treated us and they will no longer get our business. They might think you can treat customers rudely and stay in business, but that is not a smart move, especially in this economy. They lost a long loyal customer along with everyone we know. If you wanna support a rude establishment go ahead, but me and about 50 other influences will no longer give them businesses. Word of advice, be nice to your customers, they keep you in...

Well, was not planning on doing this but as I am sitting here eating this food on a late Wednesday morning, the more upset I am getting. We placed the order online before the place opened and the expectation was that the food should be fresh. Certainly does not seem to be the case here. Pretty sure we just dumped over $40 on leftovers. If the food was not reheated leftovers, they seem to have mastered the art of making food taste like reheated leftovers, which is quite an accomplishment. We ordered Chicken Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, and Orange Chicken. I think everyone ordering Chinese take-out understands that the food is only of a certain quality and we accept that. But this is so bad. There are several signs that the Orange Chicken was simply reheated and not freshly made. It was super dry near the top, with many pieces having the consistency of jerky and the single piece of broccoli is literally drying out. I know fried rice is made with refrigerated white rice. This rice definitely tasted as if it was prepared then refrigerated, prepared the following day as Chicken Fried rice then took another trip to the refrigerator for another night and reheated this morning. The Beef was not much better, while not dry, it was really not warm at all which is super strange since we literally picked up the food as soon as the place opened. It sorta seems that there was the understanding that if it was reheated too much, it would really become inedible and super obvious. However, as someone who orders Chinese, refrigerates leftovers, then reheats the food the following day - I'm pretty sure I can recognize reheated leftover...

I ordered for take out Mongolian beef, white rice, chicken & rice soup and egg rolls. I waited at the restaurant 20 mins. I thought by waiting there for it, my food would be fresh and hot. I live exactly 5 minutes away from this place. My food was luke warm at best. The beef was very chewy. The egg rolls left A LOT to be desired. The soup had absolutely NO FLAVOR. I reported this to the manager. They said they would replace the meal, but I would have to call in 1st for it. So, a week later, I did just that. When I arrived I get a lecture on why some food is hot and some is cold for take out. Never heard of such a thing. So there is a homeless man always on the corner of 158th and LaGrange Ave by Starbucks. I gave the replacement food to him. I won't EVER go back to Mo's.

The food was yummy! The service was excellent. The speed of food from order to table, excellent. It was slow this lunch time day I came. They charge $3.50 more after 3pm (fyi), I guess lunch is over at 3pm. I ordered the Shrimp Kung Pao combo that came with a choice of 2 soups (hot/sour or egg drop), a huge side of fried rice, and a large egg roll. I was able to eat half of the order & the rest will come home with me for tomorrow. There’s a had written sign on the door that if you checkin using Facebook, they’ll give you a complimentary small edamame’. So I did opt for that. Below are the pics of my food. Hope this helps. My meal in total even with the $3.50 up charge was $15.60!! That’s pretty great for truly 2 meals. The amount of food was really generous.

Let me say that service will automatically give me a reason to give 5 stars-and the food is quite good too. I order pick up on my way home fairly regularly and the young lady that greeted me was phenomenal! Huge smile, warm greeting, and sincere thanks. She is a gem and absolute delight! Also-sweet and sour chicken is my go-to for my husband and kids, while I prefer the beef with broccoli and chicken fried rice. All around satisfying experience.
