This is the closest thing to authentic matcha to my house, so it's this place or the highway if I want the real stuff, which is unfortunate. The first time I came, the staff seemed very strangely offended by me asking information about the matcha used, which I've never experienced at a boba shop before, and I have no choice but to ask and make sure due to personal health conditions I do not wish to share. Then today I went, and the guy didn't even ask, just put it at 100% sugar level. Dude I JUST got out of the hospital, are you kidding me. Plus I find drinks to taste nasty with all that sugar in them anyways, so I was trying to pinpoint why it tasted "off" and ir didn't hit me until I got home, I looked at the label and sure enough, without even asking like he's supposed to, he put it at 100% sugar. I was already having planned comfort items high in sugar for this particular trip due to some stress I've been going through, but that was just overkill to add on top of...
Read moreFound this hidden gem after my Pilates class. They had a coupon at the desk and this place looked very interesting. I love boba tea so I had to try it out. I’ve never heard of this place but I’ve drank boba so many times I had to try it out. Love the culture it brings to those who don’t understand it or know where it comes from. You order your food electronically when you enter as well the menu is on there. The guy was so nice and sweet. He helped me out while helping others. Try some of their free dessert samples. He informed me that all their drinks and I believe desserts are organic and not sweet. I tried the strawberry cheesecake and it was so fluffy with a little sweetness to it. I got the “Mango Dalgona Matcha w/ brown sugar boba & Brown sugar organic milk tea(oat milk substitute) w/ boba. So delicious and creamy. Come stop by and explore this hidden gem soon. You...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience at Te’amo Boba Shop. I went in excited to try their drinks, but the boba was clearly spoiled it had a sour taste and weird texture, like it had been sitting out for way too long. Definitely not fresh. What really bothered me, though, was how the manager (I think his name was Marvin) was treating the employees. I watched him speak down to one of the workers at the counter right in front of customers completely unprofessional and honestly just rude. No one deserves to be disrespected like that at work. Between the bad product and the toxic environment, I won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other boba spots that treat their staff and customers better....
