À La Cart - Milk — Restaurant in Orlando

Bravo! À La Cart is a perfect addition to our community. A building houses various table choices (high tops, low tops, small tables, shared tables), a bar with draft craft beers, wines, ciders and other options, including soda and coffee. There is a water station, too. The building includes a play area for small children. Outside, there are five food trucks (three "permanent" and two that rotate), a turf courtyard, chairs and small tables and umbrellas. There is also access to brick and mortar restrooms. :) The food choices vary but you'll likely have the choice of several countries and several cuisines. We had tacos, empanadas, chicken wings and a steak and cheese sandwich. SwedeDish and a poke bowl truck were also there. There are lawn games and the bartender has more toys, if you ask. Carpool or Uber or Lyft as parking is available but limited. We have been twice and had no problem parking either time, but I noticed others said it was an issue. This is a great place but it's a good idea to be flexible and also to know most food trucks take 10 minutes or so to get your food ready. As for prices, meals were about $10- $15. There were also side dishes and snacks and I saw at least one dessert. There was a group of firefighters who picked up their lunch to go. The staff is wonderful and they keep an eye on tidying up the seating area, but it's kind of implied that everyone clean up after themselves. Food & experience was amazing. Me and my friends had a wonderful time. The only issue that we had was my friend had her service dog with her and the employee walked up to her and said “I know this is your service dog, but please don’t post any photos of him here because it is a health hazard and we will get in trouble.” The problem with this is that service dogs have full accessibility to everywhere legally, and the door of the facility says “service dogs only.” First of all, we aren’t understanding why the employee would tell my friend her service dog is a health hazard. How is she supposed to enjoy the facility without her service dog? It’s inappropriate to tell someone that their working dog is causing a problem when he was very well behaved. It’s also a little bit controversial to tell someone not to post a photo of their service dog at a public facility where we were sitting outside, because that dog is there for the benefit of the patron in order for them to be able to enjoy the experience at full capacity. If dogs aren’t allowed, they should say so, but service dogs are completely allowed everywhere no matter what according to the Americans with Disabilities Act. My friend was a little upset because this is extremely offensive to tell someone not to put their own service dog on their social media platforms, especially when there is a sign that says service dogs are allowed in...

On a rainy day, hoping to relax, but instead "trapped" with screaming toddlers while I was trying to enjoy my beer flight with my boyfriend. A couple with their 2 kids running and screaming back and forth inside the already cramped indoor space did not make this trip pleasant, which I was looking forward to enjoying. Hard to hard a conversation too, not that adults aren't loud, but screeching children and immature parents inept to be a parent didn't help.

The red headed lady at the bar was ok, she did her job, but nothing I would say made her exceptional or notable in any way. Seemed more interested in looking at her phone than anything.

The Irvington address is MILES better than this place. I'd recommend going there. This place had like 5 food trucks while the other had 10. Also, place had outdoor bathrooms you had to leave the bar area to access. Irvington address' bathroom is inside the bar / indoor area.
