I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent visit to the Cava location 4724 at Millenia Plaza Way, zip code 32839, on 12/16/2023 at approximately 6:20 pm.
During my visit, I encountered a manager named Tianbra Shaw who was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I approached her with a concern about the total amount charged for my meal, I kindly asked her to review the charges as I had noticed an increase compared to my previous visits. Usually, I pay less than $20 for a single meal at your restaurant.
To support my claim, I would like to point out that just last week, when I visited with my husband, we ordered two meals with all the fixings, including an avocado for each meal. On that occasion, the total amount paid was only $30. Therefore, when I brought this to the attention of the manager, I expected a professional and courteous response.
However, instead of addressing my concern with empathy and understanding, Ms. Shaw responded in a rude and disrespectful manner. She stated, without any professionalism, that because I received a substantial amount of food, it was only fair that I paid more. Her response left me feeling extremely upset and disappointed by the way I was treated.
To add to my disappointment, upon receiving the receipt, I noticed that Ms. Shaw had charged me twice for the pita hummus, even though I did not request an additional serving. I can send a copy of my receipt. In fact, I only requested to have one chip removed from my order while keeping one chip. This discrepancy on the receipt leads me to believe that Ms. Shaw intentionally added extra charges, resulting in me paying more than I usually do.
I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and take the necessary steps to rectify the situation. I would appreciate a refund , as well as assurance that appropriate action will be taken to address the behavior and unprofessional conduct displayed by Ms. Shaw. It is disheartening to think that a manager entrusted with customer service responsibilities would attempt to take advantage of customers by adding unauthorized charges to their bills.
I must express my disappointment and regret to inform you that as a result of this unfortunate experience, I will no longer be visiting the Cava location at Millenia Plaza Way, zip 32839. It is my sincere hope that steps will be taken to ensure that no other customer has to endure such treatment from any member of your staff.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I eagerly await your prompt response and resolution to this issue. Your assistance in addressing this concern is greatly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my second time dining at Cava. The first was on a recent trip to Greenville, South Carolina. (Woodruff Rd. location.) I was really hopeful on this recent trip due to my last bad Cava experience. Here we go, two Cava restaurants in two different states. Firstly, both locations had filthy restrooms, (a barometer for any restaurant.) The Orlando location, (Millenia Mall) even had urine all over the toilet seat and a broken hand towel dispenser. (they did provide a wet roll of paper towels.) Both locations had staff that obviously wanted to be somewhere else, not the least bit welcoming! Interestingly, both locations did not add the piece of pita that comes with the bowl. I canāt help but think maybe the staff is told to not add it unless the customer asks for it. At check out, there was a surprise $3.00 up charge for half chicken half steak, the server neglected to tell me about. Lastly, the cashier said she could not accept a fifty dollar bill. Keep in mind this is dinner time on a Friday evening in Orlando, FL, probably the busiest city for tourism in the entire country. Poor customer service, unclean restaurants, having to ask for items that are supposed to come with the order, and surprise up charges at checkout. I left feeling like my business was not the least bit appreciated. Which is surprising because both locations are in areas with high numbers of competing restaurants. I would be stunned if this restaurant chain is still around in the next five years under itās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis cava is honestly a waste of space. First off the food was not fresh at least for the 3 times Iāve been. Everything is dry at the bottom of the pan and looks unappetizing. Im vegan so i always ask the person handling my food to use new gloves and separate utensils than whatās out. I didnt get anyoneās name but they all are rude and gave me attitude when i asked for my food to be prepared on separate cutting boards. I asked for fresh falafels and i was told that there wasnt anymore and it will take too long to make more⦠??? Its the middle of the day! Why arenāt they prepared with food or at least have someone in the back prepping. Of course they are also veryy stingy with the food. I understand they have to portion but i am vegan so i double on veggies and sometimes falafels, but that was a issue for them which is weird since IM PAYING but hey. Then they dont clean up enough in the restaurant. Trash is always overflowing, theres no napkins or forks for customers to grab on their own and when you ask an employee they give you 1, Literally. I wont be going back to this cava. Between being short on food and young employees with bad attitudes, i will pass. I would rather wait and have my food be prepared with LOVE or just make it yourself. I dont like leaving negative reviews but they earned this one. I hope someone higher sees this and pay...
