Poor business practices! No system in place to clearly identify jewelry left in their possession to be serviced/sized. Estimated value and detailed description should be verified, documented and signed by the jeweler and the customer. This protects jeweler as well as the customer. When we mentioned this, jeweler became very defensive and rude: said he does business “on a handshake.” Very unwise! In spite of this, we did leave a ring with them to be sized. Read moreI took a friend's cheap talking watch here because one of the link's in the exapndable wristband started to break/come apart. I fully expected to have to buy a new wristband for it but the man who owns the store took it to his workbench and within 10 minutes was able to completely fix it. Delighted, I asked how much I owed him and he kinda shrugged and said "five dollars". Wow!
