Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Orlando

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION‼️‼️‼️ I ORDERED A 10 PIECE AND REGULAR OKRA WITH 3 PEPPERS ON THE SIDE I GOT HOME TO EAT IT AND WAS HIT WITH A VERY BAD SMELL THE CHICKEN WAS SPOILED AND VERY OVER COOKED LIKE IT WAS COOKED IN OLD COOKING OIL...I GOT IN MY CAR AND TOOK IT BACK I TOLD THE CASHIER AT THE WINDOW WHO THEN WENT AND GOT THE MANAGER. I LET HIM KNOW THAT THE CHICKEN SMELLED SPOILED AND HE ASKED ME DID I WANT MORE CHICKEN I TOLD HIM NO AND BCUZ MY FIANCE PAID WITH HIS CARD AND WAS NOT WITH ME I TOLD HIM I WOULD TAKE SOME BISCUITS OKRA AND A DRINK HE SAYS OK HE THEN TURNS AROUND AND SAYS SOME SLICK COMMENTS TO THE EMPLOYEES AND THEY LAUGH SO NOW IM LIKE U CAN ADD SOME CHICKEN TENDERS TOO. THEN HE RESPONDS I CAN GIVE U LIKE 3 TENDERS BCUZ THE BISCUITS AND OKRA IS ABOUT $8 AND I TOLD HIM OK AND I PAID $22 FOR MY ORDER THAT WAS NO GOOD HE THEN GETS AN ATTITUDE HAND ME THE FOOD AND SLAMS THE WINDOW...I THEN REACH OUT TO CORPORATE WHO TOOK FOREVER TO ANSWER THE PHONE I WAITED FOR ABOUT AN HOUR TO FINALLY TALK TO SOMEONE AND NOW IM GOING TO CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT BCUZ THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED. AND ALSO THIS LOCATION WAS SHUT DOWN FOR MONTHS I DON'T KNOW THE REASON BUT I DO KNOW THEY HAD AND INFESTATION OF ROACHES AT 1 POINT AND ALSO WHILE IT WAS SHUT DOWN THERE WHERE HOMELESS PPL AND DRUG ADDICTS THAT MADE IT THEIR STOMPING GROUND AND HOME WITH TENTS EVERYWHERE AND CHAIRS SITTING ON THE FRONT AS IF THEY WHERE SITTING ON THE PORCH...DRUGS WHERE BEING SOLD AND USED IT WAS JUST A LOT GOING ON...0/10 I DO NOT...

The food was as expected from any other restaurant. The pieces are not the size that I remembered them being from months ago. My cashier must've been new because some woman behind him kept yelling at him for simple stuff. I ordered 3 wings and a leg with small fry and large Mac and Cheese when she rudely interrupted and said loud enough for people in the rest room to hear her say "That's $8 for those 3 wings". I kept my Kool and said it's fine, not a problem. I get my order minutes later after watching and hearing her yell at the cashier to take the next order as they are taking their time to look at the menu. The cashier as he was correct kept telling her that they aren't ready to order yet. At this point, I was ready to get out of there. No wonder the parking lot only had 3 cars in it when I pulled in. If that was a manager, she needs more training on employee relations and customer service. After all, if she shut up, the cashier would have heard me say a large Mac and cheese but instead, only rang up a regular one. I didn't go back cuz I thought he would get fired if I did. We don’t have a churches chicken in our area so when I get the opportunity to get churches chicken I go for it! However I wish I hadn’t went for it this time. My husband had a meeting to go to in Orlando this weekend and I asked him to pick up some churches chicken on his way home. He stopped at the one on church street. I have never been to that one but I have been to the one on West colonial and the chicken was awesome! This chicken we got from this particular store was absolutely horrible! Half the chicken was over cooked and dried out and burnt in some places when the other pieces didn’t even taste like churches chicken. I don’t know where they went wrong but maybe I picked a bad night to want churches chicken. It seems like they just threw a box of bad chicken together and passed it off to us.
