A brand new location that will be convenient when I am up in the area. I really enjoyed Del Taco and it helps that they are better priced than some of the alternatives. This location was open a week when I stumbled across it and we stopped in to have lunch. My kids have to special order their food and got the grilled chicken burritos customized with fries and a drink. I had a coupon in the app for buy one get one free on their snack tacos, plus I also got a Crunchtada. Everything was prepared properly and tasted great. The employees I talk to were very friendly and helpful. Being a new location they were somewhat overstaffed, but that meant that everything was right. The first time the only thing I was sad about was that they did not have the strawberry lemonade that I have had at other locations. The restaurant was quite busy with a lot of people dining in. overall, it was quite clean inside, and I did witness employees walking in the floor and wiping down tables and taking trays and back. I will probably be back here with some regularity, but I am also looking forward to the new location that is opening close to where I currently live. If you like Del Taco, then be aware that they are opening several new locations...
Read moreFirst and last time going to this location. Used the app to get the two free tacos which literally says with ANY purchase (key word here is ANY which means anything on that menu) it would not allow me to make my purchase. After speaking with the cashier Dominic, who had a big ole hicky on his neck (real professional 👍🏻) and being mansplained by him the app really means any DEL TACO not any item, which the app does not say. I was able to place my order. While waiting on my food, Dominic then decided to pull some receipt paper out to WRITE OUT and mansplain some more about the wording in the app, which then I had to mansplain back to him what the words ANY PURCHASE means. Once I received my order, I saw the two free tacos were missing, I spoke with one of the manager's there who flat out did not believe me as the two free tacos did not show up on their monitors in the back. So I had to dig out my phone and pull up the order and the manager had to go over it several times which was not a whole lot to look over (not sure if she's just slow or a slow reader) but after fighting with her on this, finally gave me the tacos I ordered. This is certainly the first and last time I come to this...
Read moreFirst off, there was never an altercation of any kind. That said, the employees here are just rude, more specifically from a delivery driver point of view.
They make them retrieve their orders from a kiosk outside which only tells us if an order is inside of one of it's lockers or not. Doesn't tell us when it'll be made, or if it was already retrieved. But besides that, it's confusing to use and I'd consider myself tech-savvy.
Everything is simple until you get to the 4-digit code part which is nowhere to be seen in the notes for any of my pickups here. I didn't understand yet that it needs the last 4 of your order number (which is 5 digits) not the first 4. I was able to figure it out on my own but not before I went inside to try and ask for a solution to the problem.
No one came over to check and see what I needed. I was for the most part completely ignored and only greeted with a " you need to use the kiosk outside, sir " which ended up getting me nowhere.
Mind you, this didn't happen the evening in which I posted this, this was from prior within the week before. I've came here since then and since then the employees have been more or...
