The cake was the only thing wrong with my wedding. The cupcakes were not the same color as the bright red flower on the top, so all of my guests thought my cupcakes were orange instead of red. Additionally, I had verified with Heather in text message that the delivery man will know what flavors are which and she said yes as long as we provide labels, then the cupcakes will be labeled. He did not know which flavors were which and all 71 of my guests can testify that they did not get the cupcake that they reached for. When I told her this issue she said that is was someone else's fault because they must have moved the labels. What reason would a guest have to move the labels? Kids? NOPE. no kids were at the wedding. Then she told me that we can argue all day long about the shades of red. So told me (I have text to show) that I will be refunded $90. After a week of not receiving my money I asked her about it. She came back saying I was harassing her, I was threatening her, that my character was questionable. Totally out of the blue. We had not had any communication since that moment she said she will return the $90. So we went in to talk to her. When asked if she is willing to compromise or own her mistake she sternly said: "NO." We stated that we are unhappy and she said that in her contract that we signed that she has the right to make the cake whichever way she wants and however she wants it to be. Doesn't matter if we are happy with it. Don't let her ruin your wedding or special event. I have attached picture proof. The cake stand was delivered. I have proof of that too. My wedding day's only mistake was the cake.
Ladies and Gentlemen, there is the proof of how this lady will treat you if all you want is an apology for her mistake. I want to add that there has been ZERO texts, emails, phone calls made to this lady ever since she agreed to refund the $90, and this is the harassment I have...
Read moreOur experience using this company at the beginning was amazing. Our wedding cake was beautiful. The tasting process was unique and wonderful. Communication definitely was lacking during the process, but our wedding cake was beautiful on our wedding day. We only got to taste our wedding cake. Neither one of us were able to eat it and enjoy it beyond the first cut and taste so we were looking forward to our anniversary cake they offer. It’s the anniversary cake when the issues began. I knew I messed up when I waited too long to order our anniversary cake. I reached out to get our anniversary cake and asked if it could be ready before our anniversary and was told no. Not a problem. I knew I had screwed it up and was willing to get it after the fact. We had planned a weekend away to celebrate our anniversary. Reached out and was told it would be ready Saturday. I expressed I couldn’t do Saturday because we wouldn’t be in town. Is there anyway we could do Friday? And if not anytime the following week would work. All I was told was ok. Never confirmed if it would be ready Friday or the following week. Never was told it was ready at all. After a week I reached out asking about it and got told it was ready a week ago. I was never told the cake was ready at all or when we could pick it up or where we could pick it up. It’s very disheartening when we were so excited to finally eat our anniversary cake just to be completely disappointed and cake less. After spending $400+ on a wedding cake with the anniversary cake included, we are very disappointed that we have to go pay for a cake to celebrate our anniversary. I do not recommend using this company unless you want to be just as disappointed in the...
Read moreWe hired it's Tasty Too because they were on our approved vendor list. My now wife and I scheduled a taste test where we sat down and selected six delicious cupcake flavor combinations. Our main concern was how our guests would know how to identify them, given we only had two wedding colors. We were assured that the answer to that was easy. They could decorate two flavors with the two solid colors and then add a combination of swirled colors to the rest. The solution was simple, and we were delighted with the idea.
I'd like you to please fast forward to our wedding day. The cupcakes and our wedding cutting cake (Champagne and Strawberry) tasted amazing. It was so good. However, every cupcake had the same white buttercream icing, which left our guests frustrated and playing a strange game of cupcake Russian Roulette. My biggest issue is how anyone who had a hand in creating or boxing up these pastries never asked the obvious question, "How will they be able to tell which is which?"
Everyone makes mistakes, but I have one simple rule: if you tell someone you will do something, DO IT. I am not telling anyone not to go with this vendor. If they had done what they told us they would do, then the experience would have been perfect. However, if you hire them, please be very clear and outline precisely what you want. I suggest you follow up with them the week or even the day before. It is as if they had remembered and pushed them out the door at the last second. This was incredibly disappointing. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I am sorry this was not the experience...
