Keke's Breakfast Cafe — Restaurant in Orlando

This is a review on my experience with the disrespectful, passive-aggressive manager who's working today, Brooke!! After ordering my usual meal. Pancakes, eggs w/ cheese & crispy bacon, i received my meal 15-20min later and was very disappointed at the size of my pancake. Kekes pancakes are usually the size of the plate it's on. My pancake was so small that even the staff recognized it when it was brought to my table. It happenes every now & then, but in the past, they've allow me to keep the one I have to accommodate for the size, and to not have me wait any longer, because the restaurant is very busy on sundays. I personally would consider this great customer service. I make sure I tip well no matter what happens because I want my waitress or the staff to know that I appreciate their integrity and the attention to detail. I don't get anything extravagant, just a very easy meal, but sometimes it doesn't come out correctly, but again, the staff here does well in making sure the customer is happy. This is why I won't stop spending my money here, despite the female managers' negative behavior. So my waitress comes over, & acknowledges my pancake is really small & offers to bring another one to accommodate the small size. As im preparing the small pancake to eat, the manager Brooke comes over to tell me they're remaking my pancake & she will be taking my plate now. I told her to wait, & advised hernthe waitress said to not worry, they will remake a new pancake, & that i can keep the one I have. She said oh no ma'am, I didnt approve that, we need to take this pancake &well make a new one. I replied, no you will not, it's going to take like 20 or so more min to make a new pancake, ive already waited 20 or so min to be seated. By the time it comes out my other food will be cold. She replies in a very passive aggressive tone that they are replacing my pancake not giving me another one. I then asked for the other manager, she says " he's busy cooking". I told her I will wait on him. She just turns & walks away. Brooke was very rude and unprofessional, & i was about to just walk out & not eat thete anymore, but I felt it was unfair to my waitress, because she was amazing as usual & i wanted to tip her. So i stayed. EVERYONE EXCEPT THE MNGR BROOKE was so nice, accommodating, understanding & not judgmental. They handled me being upset with Brooke so well, that instead of never coming back. I will continue to come & bring others with me to enjoy the atmosphere, hospitality, & good "WELL PORTIONED" food. By then hopefully Brooke won't be here anymore, her bipolar behavior is off putting and needs to be addressed...

We enjoy Kekes at various locations throughout Orlando, Kissimmee and Tampa 10-12 times per month. I brought an out of State family member last week and really enjoyed every single thing from the food, service, environment , etc. Today was a very special day for me and my husband, We had decided we wanted to bless a young person with $1,000.00 (we try to pay it forward 10 times a year) I told my husband about the server from last Sunday, 6/29/25 at Kekes /Conroy. When I walked in 7/6/25 the manager and host were wonderful. I asked for a window seat Stevens section , and luckily (so I thought) he was the server for the area we were seated in. Initially, when the server came to greet us, I reminded him of the previous weeks visit and how much my family member also enjoyed his service. I understand numerous folks are served and he probably didn't even remember , which is fine, however the service received was very disappointing. He barely came to check on our table and there was an issue with the Turkey Bacon. We requested it cooked as crispy as possible, as we understand that can be tough. After waiting for nearly 15 minutes, a runner came out but she was going from table to table asking if they were waiting for Turkey Bacon, everyone was saying no, and I signaled to her, I believe that's the Turkey Bacon we were waiting on but just the one with two slices (she had 2 sides) she stated, oh they only told me this for one table and she sat them both down. We did not touch one of the plates and left it there so we could tell Steven. He came over to our table shortly after, and immediately drilled us like we were little kids about the Turkey Bacon , asking why did we take it, etc. When I stated , I actually let the younglady know we only ordered one side and that's why it's still sitting there. I felt very sad that he didn't ask if we were okay or cared, he was more concerned (as he told us) servers are mad about missing Turkey Bacon. I was really hoping to bless him today for great service but apparently there is someone else that we were...

We ordered our food to go. The man who waited on us was very nice (think he was the manager). The food was AWFUL!!! $45 for food to go in the TRASH!!! We also ordered a large (very expensive - like $6 for a cup) O.J. bc we thought it was hand squeezed, but it wasn't. My daughter got the Florida Pancakes and I got the southwest omelet. The home fries on both dishes were burnt, over cooked and dry. No onions to speak of and absolutely zero Belle peppers. The pancakes tasted like they were made with water on a grill that had been sprayed with chemicals. The southwest omelet was eggs rolled closed with cheese ONLY on the inside. There were tomatoes, onions and jalapeños sprinkled over the outside...but in my book an omelet has all of that inside. I would NEVER order eggs with melted cheese inside. There was zero seasoning in the eggs. They were so bland. Not to mention I should have had 4 pieces of bacon, but only got 3. Kinda pathetic. They are way over priced for extremely subpar food. I'm really glad the manage waited on us, because once we received our food, we realized that he forgot the to give us our way over priced O.J. He walked to the back, and we stood at the counter with 5 different employees there, right in front of us, who totally ignored us. Like I couldn't even get their attention to ask for our O.J. Had to wait for the manager to come back to the front to get it. NEVER AGAIN...definitely gave...
