Went during the first night of their soft opening. Wow what an AMAZING addition to the area!! I had been following their socials for a while and was very eager to finally be able to visit. My expectations were definitely exceeded.
As soon as we sat down, they lit the disco ball and it just added such a magical touch to the space. Love me any place that has a good disco ball.
The atmosphere inside was phenomenal. As someone who loves architecture and decor, especially from mid-century era, I absolutely loved the vibe inside of Sparrow. It was very cozy and moody. It had that mid-century feel while still feeling fresh and modern. Loved the dim lighting as well. Perfect for a date night, girl’s night or just a fun, chill night out with friends.
We ordered three drinks total and they were all great. The fries were thin and crispy, perfect to share while sipping on our cocktails. We also had the basque cheesecake and we enjoyed it very much. Service was great, our server was very attentive and walked us through the menu.
Overall, such a great addition and I’m so excited to return and bring some friends to experience Sparrow. Definitely one of my new favorites in Orlando, by far!
UPDATE: Went again and still completely obsessed with the vibe here. Just wanted to point out that one of our friends ordered scotch on the rocks and they charged $1 for the ice. Never seen that anywhere lol. So just be aware that apparently they charge...
Read moreI’d been wanting to try Sparrow for a while, and I’m glad we finally made it out for a girls night!
We made a reservation ahead of time since we heard the space was small and more on the intimate side.
The interior is super cute and VERY aesthetic!
We ordered a few dishes to share, and my favorite was the mushroom pâté. I’d read good things about it, and it really did live up to the hype. Not what I expected, but in a good way!
Our server was friendly and gave us some recommendations. My cocktail was a bit too strong for my taste, so I’d probably try something different next time.
My sister did order the martini which we thought came with a pintxo as stated in the menu…but I guess they consider the garnish a pintxo (we were a little sad about that, I guess we’re used to it being more like a tapa on a stick/skewer).
And another thing that was a letdown—we saw on the website that there was a late night happy hour starting at 9pm, which is why we booked a later reservation. But when we got there, the menu said “coming soon,” and our server confirmed it wouldn’t be happening for a few more months. That was a little disappointing since it was one of the main reasons we chose that reservation time.
Still, it’s a cute spot and worth checking out if you’re...
Read moreWe arrived just before our 7:30 pm reservation and were seated immediately—always a promising start to any dining experience. From the moment we sat down, we were well taken care of by our server, Celeste, who was outstanding. She was not only friendly and attentive but also impressively knowledgeable about the restaurant's concept, the menu, and both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage offerings.
Speaking of drinks, everything we tried was unique and delicious. The thoughtful selection of beverages—both with and without alcohol—complemented the meal perfectly and added a creative flair to the overall experience.
For food, we ordered the pan con tomato, short rib rigatoni, and truffle fries with aioli. Each dish was expertly prepared and full of flavor. The rigatoni, in particular, was rich and satisfying, with perfectly tender short rib. The truffle fries were addictively crispy, and the aioli was a perfect match.
The vibe of the restaurant was laid-back but polished—ideal for a relaxed evening out. Overall, the combination of top-notch service, exceptional food, and a welcoming atmosphere made this a dining experience we’ll definitely be...
