Stayed here for EDC Orlando! Never been to EDC Orlando nor been to Orlando. To be honest, I did not feel safe with all that has been written into law by the Gov. Ron DeSantis which is being a retired naval officer that should never been the case. Regardless, I champion and went to my first EDC with my friends who are very knowledgeable in HOUSE MUSIC. Which I in my youth did not truly get to explore. The hotel was great and allowed my a friend who arrived a day early check into my hotel. I was delayed due to sharp pain triggering from a hit and run while riding my bike to my workout. This caused me to miss my first flight which my champion airline DELTA as usual got me to my destination. Anyway, the front desk was gracious and polite. Allowed my friend who flight was a day early check into my room without me being present. Also a disabled Naval Officer. I got the the hotel, checked in some laundry to the sleepy night audit, and went upstairs to rest. Another friend got in so the hotel let him up so they could rest till they could check into the Hilton around the corner. Hotel had been very kind. After resting we grabbed lunch and the guys went off to check-in their hotel. I took meds to deal with my pain which tamed from my rest and lunch. Called about the items I had laundered. Front Desk sent them up as I went to the first day of the festival. Got back and noticed some pieces were missing. The sleepy night audit could not locate anything. Called in the AM, the items were eventually found but stains everywhere. After a lot of back and forth nothing was done. Ruined a pair of $200 Hugo Boss Jeans, Savage Fenty Hoodie and pants, designer shirt plus more. Also, numerous times asked my room to be serviced. It never got cleaned and I was there for 4 days. It was uncomfortable nice I felt during my stay after mentioning the damaged items. The cleaners have done nothing and called them 5 or 6 times. DO NOT USE THEIR CLEANING SERVICE! IT IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER USED EVER! I said on the Marriott experience I'd stay here again. I am in the air about that discussion.

Update: Experience will really depend on the floor. Figured out "upgraded rooms" are worse than the booked rooms, because the smaller rooms are better located. I recently stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott downtown Orlando and have mixed feelings about my experience. On the positive side, the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the car parking facilities were good. Unfortunately, there were several negatives that detracted from my stay. Firstly, the location of the hotel did not offer many options for walkable bars and restaurants, which was disappointing. Additionally, the lack of a bar in the hotel made it difficult to relax and socialize in the evenings. One of the most significant drawbacks of the hotel was its location next to a loud street. On weekends, the noise level escalated due to posers showing off their cars and motorcycles, and the windows were not insulated enough to block out the sound. This made it challenging to get a good night's sleep, which was made worse by the inconsistent quality of the room service. Despite staying for two weeks, there were only two exceptions when the room service was satisfactory. On other occasions, my own pillow and sleeping clothing were literally thrown around. The hotel pool was another letdown, as it was not well-maintained and was dirty. Finally, the couch in the suite was so worn out that it was almost impossible to use the living room to watch TV comfortably. Overall, while the friendly front desk staff and good car parking were positives, the negatives outweighed them. The noisy location, poor room service, dirty pool, and uncomfortable couch made my stay less enjoyable than it could have been.

My fiance and I stayed here as a mini staycation to see Seven Lions play at Lot 54 at the Vanguard. I got a notification that our room was ready ahead of time. Checking in was easy with no issues. I had asked for a high floor and was on floor 3/7. I knew that the location was busy and noisy and the hotel advertised soundproofing, but it was very noisy in the room. The pool was fantastic. We spent awhile in the water. It was a great temperature and had shallow and deeper portions. There was also a gym fishbowl style with the pool. The pool area opened up to the outside. The room was well stocked with necessities for a much longer stay than our two nights. The fridge was off when we arrived but we turned it on and it was functional. We used some of the bowls and cups, as well as the microwave. Breakfast hours felt limited but the food was adequate. There is a mini mart in the lobby with drinks, food and limited necessities available. I saw other guests receiving deliveries but we did not take advantage of delivery services. I placed three orders for additional towels. Two were fulfilled. Every hand sanitizer dispenser was filled. The gym/pool restrooms were pristine. Overall, pretty good for travel these days.

I was displaced due to hurricane Irma and stayed here 6 days and 5 nights. I had been without electricity and running water for 4 days and my sister made a reservation for me and my family here. I have never experienced anything where it took me nearly an hour to check-in because of certain forms they needed in order to have a credit card on file for incidentals. My sister is an elite member and became very frustrated with this hotel when making the reservation for me. She was sent a form for her credit card that is already on file with all Marriott associated hotels, that she had to complete and send back. When I tried checking in at 8pm they said they had never received the form back from her and could not check me in. My sister had been trying to fax this form over for the most part of the afternoon. When I asked Emily at guest services if she had checked her fax to see if there was maybe a problem with it she stated "No our fax is working just fine because we have been sending and receiving faxes all day." When a customer that is paying $260 a night plus $15 a day for parking asks you if your fax machine is working, that a a nice way of saying "Go check your fax for the form!" After an hour of going back and forth they had received the form. But to our disappointment, we were told it was the wrong form. We were extremely frustrated up to this point and Emily stated that even though it was the wrong form they would still accept it. After check in we went to our room and it was nice, cozy and what I thought was clean. I had to use the bathroom and when I did before I sat down I noticed dried urine on the outside of the toilet bowl. I thought maybe housekeeping was in a rush. It happens. After my stay the urine was still there. The outside of the toilet bowl was never wiped down or cleaned. During the evening of day 3, my son was playing on the floor with his cars under the little study or desk that is in the room. To my surprise he found a dead, dried up lizard. I was completely disgusted. I folded up a piece of paper and scooped up the dead lizard and gave it to a female in guest services who stated she was the manager on duty. She stated she would notify housekeeping immediately and would credit my sister's account with 3,000 points. This was done. Their breakfast in the morning was delicious and has a lot to choose from for adults and children. The indoor pool facility, laundry room, and gym are clean and seem to be well kept. Although this hotel is conveniently located near downtown Orlando where there are plenty of places to eat and shop, I will not be returning and I would not...
