I am currently on my third visit to this place. The beignets are airy and soft, warm, sweet, just exactly the way beignets are supposed to be.
The decor is cute and perfectly feminine and sophisticated. I love how the floor to ceiling windows keep the indoor area brightly lit, making it ideal for not only relaxing and enjoying some fresh beignets, but also for a productive day of work. The outdoor patio is dog friendly, with a bowl of water set for any thirsty pup. I havent found out if the indoor seating is dog friendly as well, but I do know that they make you feel welcomed to bring your pup inside while you order.
The service has been the most impressive aspect so far. The lady who must be a manager is so delightfully friendly and welcoming. As she brought out my order today, she offered to bring water for my "fur baby" and also remembered how I was here the other day, and thanked me for returning.
As I was ordering a matcha, the lady behind the counter was also friendly and knowledgeable in helping me customize it to my preference. It's definitely a plus that you can add fruit puree and syrups to jazz things up a little.
The prices are reasonable, too. The only thing i'll mention as a negative is the price of the dipping sauces. When I ordered 2 x 24piece bite boxes to take into work, I ordered a side of cream cheese icing that was $1.25 to add online, and received 1 x 2oz portion cup of icing that was nowhere near enough for multiple people to enjoy 48 pieces with. I also got a large tub of the blueberry dipping sauce, which was delightful and enough in quantity, but cost extra. And there was no option for a large portion cream cheese icing.
Other than that, my 3 visits so far have been well worth it and we will most definitely be coming...
Read moreI had a wonderful experience at this establishment. Right when I walked in, I was greeted, and they told me the rundown of the best-selling items, all the different flavors, and really what “Beignets & Brews” is about! The person taking my order was beyond patient and kind and answered all my questions. It was my first time, so I found myself very indecisive because there were so many yummy items! It wasn’t busy when I got there, but this café has true potential. I could feel it. So, make this your spot now and try the Chantilly beignets before I sell them out. My friend ordered the cinnamon sugar beignets and a Biscoff latte drink. Everything was really yummy, even the complimentary lemon water. It didn’t have that weird filmy or overly thick taste. To be transparent, I thought the portion size would be bigger or more traditionally sized. It’s truly portioned for one, so you won’t feel too guilty after indulging. Also, I wish they had a “sample” beignet flight/menu item that allows you to try all of the flavors—maybe with the mini size beignets they have. Same with their specialty coffee items. Offering a coffee flight would be next level and innovative, especially because they do hold trendy exciting menu items. For the regular size beignet, I would’ve held appreciation for the ability to get different flavors in one order. Overall, I would recommend and would visit agin, maybe even bring some friends! A very memorable moment was when leaving and the server wished me a...
Read moreThe place is very nice—the style, the colors, everything. It’s a perfect spot to sit and chat while enjoying some delicious French donuts, freshly made.
The only critique I have is that I mentioned to the cashier that it was my first time there, but I had to ask several questions to get information about different items. It would be great if, when a customer says it’s their first time, the staff could explain the menu and provide better communication. That would make the experience quicker and feel more welcoming. It’s just a suggestion to help improve staff training.
If they had done that, the service would have been exceptional—but that didn’t happen.
Would I return? Absolutely! The food is very tasty, and I hope to have a better experience next time. Yes, I do recommend this place. The only real inconvenience is...
