Believe all the good things you’ve heard about this place because it truly is a gem. It starts off with the friendly staff and the quaint outdoor seating area. Kim, our waitress was informative, attentive and friendly. We had a follow up waitress, I didn’t catch her name but incredibly sweet. We had the double Philly, kara mura (super spicy sauce), a yellowtail roll and beauty and the beast. All were fantastic but the beauty and the beast packs a delightful punch of flavors and textures. I can’t forget to mention that the ginger salad was delightful. I find this to be one of the things I critique most at sushi spots because the ginger dressings vary as well as the greens used and the overall look. This one was definitely unique, it wasn’t too sweet and had a high quality home made taste to it. This place was very reasonably priced. I would recommend and will definitely be back.

The restaurant had cozy atmosphere. This is one of the best Japanese restaurant in FL. My family recently reside in FL from Tokyo. We know what authentic Japanese food is! This restaurant is top-notch! Servers were very friendly, professional and well-mannered. The owner answered my question about fish professionally. It’s always good to know what kind of fishes they serve and where they came from. I love the fact that they have hand wash sink! (People please wash your hands before eat!) One thing I want to request to the owner is please have virgin drinks or non-alcohol beer on menu for drivers. If you want authentic Japanese food and “Omotenashi” you must go here!

We had 6 different rolls and did not disappoint, very well balanced flavors, the one with orange stood out the most, a very refreshing combination. the classic rolls is what you would expect out them, and the crunchy eel is very good. Sweet and crunchy like the name suggest. I do wish the rice was a little bit more seasoned for simpler rolls like the one with scallion and the nigiris. also I felt like sometimes the cucumber was a little bit thick, although it brought a lot of texture it might overtake the bite if it’s a simpler roll, nonetheless very good place for the price we had 6 rolls and 3 starters and it was under 100$

I've eaten sushi all around the world, including Japan and Korea, and this was certainly in the bottom 10. Very disappointing since the ratings were so high. The sushi rice had a consistency of sticky rice rather than sushi rice, and the fish was clearly not fresh and not good quality. We ordered three rolls and left all but 3 pieces on the plate. It had an overwhelming vinegar taste.

They do not offer Hibachi, although they offer all of the food that it would take to make it? With Hibachi being such a popular dish for american Japanese restaurants. This was surprising. They also do not offer white sauce/spicy mayo at the table, yet its in and on the sushi rolls? The waitress told me it was not a Japanese sauce? Although it was invented by Toichiro Nakashima.

We also ordered the teriyaki Steak. The Steak made me and mother physically ill within 40 minutes on consumption even though I only had one piece and she had three. It was cooked medium rare when it was requested medium, it also didn't have a sear or crust. I'm assuming the hot food chef is american.

Great atmosphere, terrible food. Our server also hit me in the face with her long pony tail twice. I'm certain it was an accident, but could potentially be a...

Definitely don’t get to-go from here. I am sad to say that I will no longer be frequenting this establishment. I ordered 3 items, an avocado salad, a sweet potato tempura roll (hot since it is fried) and a Philly roll (cold with salmon). This order totaled around 30$ after tip. After picking up my food and walking back across the street to my apartment, I realized that they had my cold roll packed in with my hot roll. I Didn’t think anything about it, until I ate my first few pieces of the salmon roll. I then realized that my salmon was slimy and sweating and the roll was falling apart. So I called, because I am a firm believer of allowing the establishment to make it right first (probably my hospitality background) However the girl that answered the phone was very offensive and let me know that it is standard to pack cold and hot rolls together unless requested by the guest. After a few back and forth conversation, she offered me a $9 credit so I could have another salmon roll at a later date. The fact that it is standard for them to pack hot food and cold food together seemed absurd. But that wasn’t for me to determine. Now, I am dealing with an upset stomach/ food poisoning for 24 hours straight...

Terrible customer service, the server lady with dark hair and glasses was so rude from the beginning. That wasn’t the worst part, I ordered a salmon entree which wasn’t good honestly either, and they brought everything at once so I couldn’t take my time with the soup & salad. The tables are very small and the blonde server started spraying the tables around us with some cleaning product. I thought I could get over that but then the other one brings a mop that smelled like bleach and cleans the floor right next to our table. I couldn’t even enjoy my meal, sucks because I hadn’t seen my sister in so long and that was our meeting/ meal that I was looking forward to. Then to top it off I’m half way through my food and she asks if the checks were separate or together. And brought the bill fast, it’s so inconsiderate of the guest. Like I’m spending money here and just trying to enjoy my meal with my sister. Also made snarky comments when my sister asked for a fork, it’s a lot. I wish I could say the food was worth it but it wasn’t. Please do better, I will never go there again or recommend to anyone. There’s better...
