The Thirsty Topher is awesome. I've been about 10 times and each visit has been a lot of fun. The place has great decor, an awesome staff and excellent beers. The people who work here are very cool. One of the bartenders, Alex, always remembers me from previous visits (even though my last few visits have had a lot of time in between them), knows a lot about beer and is great at making conversation. Great guy to talk to! The other employees I've met also have been very friendly. The beers here are very good - never had a bad one. The bar does a great job of keeping lots of different styles (IPAs, stouts, ales, sours) on draft, so there should be something here for every different style on any given night. There also is a decent selection of bottled beer, if I remember correctly. There may even be some aged/vintage stuff available. The design of the inside of the bar is really nice. It's hard to explain how it is, though. I'm going to T.T. tonight so I will take a few pictures of it then and post them here later. On many nights, there is a food truck just outside of the entrance. That's a nice bonus. Most of the time, it's Sushi & Seoul On The Roll or a pizza food truck. I've tried food from both and everything...

You will not find a beer for less than $8. After a tip you won't leave there for less than $20 for only 2 beers which these days I find unacceptable. Especially as someone who buys beers from the same distributors and knows what they pay per beer, the $8 price tag to me feels more like a business who is either having difficulty getting more customers to pay the bills so they jack up prices for current customers instead of attaining new ones, or just raising prices to take advantage of the fact that the area has now started to become a "higher end" part of town and they are going after a different clientele base. I'd love to go more, but because of prices it's a once a month spot instead of...

The pizza? Surprisingly good — crispy, cheesy, and perfect with whatever cold drink you’re sipping. There’s a rotating selection of beers (local faves and offbeat finds) that’ll please both hop heads and casual sippers. Add in some nice wine options and you’ve got choices for everyone.
The outdoor seating is a major plus too — perfect for late-night convos and people-watching. This place has real character. Whether you're catching up with an old friend or making new ones at the bar, it’s got that kind of vibe you wish more places had. Definitely a go-to chill nook in the...
