Kava Culture in Ormond Beach stands out as a unique and refreshing establishment, particularly notable for its commitment to offering a one-of-a-kind, alcohol-free drinking experience. This is the 14th location of Kava Culture, known for its kava-based drinks and handcrafted, all-natural botanical cocktails made by Botanical Brewing Co. These beverages are designed to provide a distinctive, alcohol-free buzz, emphasizing a health-conscious and community-focused ethos. The bar is owned by entrepreneurs Lisa and Robb Morrison, with their son Brett Morrison as the manager. Their dedication to crafting mood-boosting, plant-based drinks using ingredients like kava, kratom, kanna, and CBD highlights their innovative approach to social drinking. Brett Morrison, living a sober lifestyle since 2019, aims to offer an elevated drinking experience that doesn't rely on alcohol, aligning with the broader trend towards healthier lifestyle choices. The Kava Culture Kava Bar doesn't just serve drinks; it fosters a sense of community, emphasizing local hiring and support for the surrounding community. Given this information, Kava Culture Ormond Beach can be praised for its innovative approach to social drinking, its commitment to health and wellness, and its role as a community hub. It represents a new wave of social spaces that are redefining what it means to enjoy a night out, prioritizing health, community, and sustainability.

So Brendan is absolutely fantastic incredibly attentive and even before going to the bathroom will ask everyone here if they need anything. Truly dedicated to his customer service. While many in the community avoid the "corporate" chain kava bars, this kava culture definitely knows how to maintain that balance between keeping the brand while also understanding their demographic and being invested in the community. Chris has done a fantastic job with finding that balance and really making the business thrive. I personally love coming here and do almost everyday because of it. There is no shortage of cool people, enjoyable times, events, and great vibes no matter when you come in. I do love that Brendan sees me pull up and immediately has my drinks ready knowing I always order the same thing when I walk in, and gets my girls order right as well. And for all his regulars he does the same. The fact he is able to remember every single regulars first order when they come in truly shows his skills and how much effort he puts in to taking care of the bar. Anytime that bell rings on the door he's greeting and making drinks before doing tasks and socializing with the patrons making them feel welcome and engaged. A truly wonderful team here that takes care of anyone who comes to KC as a safe space.

The drinks seemed a little watered down. There were only a few customers in there when we arrived. this time I went with Brandon, The tender Shelby she is supercool. I updated this formerly negative review. Since they have a new manager. They have many special promotions like open mic night Thursdays. There are also several others in the area to check out. There is ample parking, maybe 50 spaces but if you accidentally park in the two designated smoke shop spaces, even though there are probably 30 more open spaces. The smoke shop workers are uncool and will threaten to have your car towed. It was a topic in the kava shop, how the smoke shops are so uncool, rude, and kind of militant about those 2 spaces and it was agreed that no I ne would buy there as there are many other cooler places.

My friends and I used to frequent Kava Culture daily, usually in groups of 7 or 8, we'd spend around $80 to $90 on drinks, getting one every half hour. One day, a friend, grieving over his grandfather's death, accidentally dropped some items while cleaning his car in the parking lot. The employees made an unnecessary fuss, despite it being their responsibility to maintain cleanliness. They claimed we were blacklisted by their boss, which we doubted, given our support for Kava Culture across multiple locations. Upon our return, they rudely refused to serve us, citing frivolous reasons like playing "weird" music which was songs from our culture and we usually ask for permission before playing the song and not tipping, despite my knowledge that my friends regularly tipped. This treatment, coupled with apparent racial bias, left us feeling unwelcome and unfairly treated. We've all worked in customer service and would never treat others as we were treated. It's disheartening to be singled out and mistreated in a place we once considered a welcoming space for our group gatherings. We feel it's important to address these issues to ensure fair treatment for all customers, regardless of race...
