I finally made it into Bigfoot Eats. I’ve been meaning to check them out since their original location, but between running two businesses and chasing my own tail, it never happened. When they reopened right here in town, I was borderline emotional. I’d promised my staff at one of my businesses a breakfast outing, and today we finally made it happen.
First up, the remodel. You’d never guess this place used to be the old Papacitos, unless you’re one of us locals with a sixth sense for sentimental details. They managed to sneak in a few nods to the past, but the rest? Total glow-up 😉. Iykyk
Now for the good stuff. Me and one of the girls got the Hangover Burrito. No hangover, just a Monday mood and a deep love for carbs. This thing was massive. Like, "could feed a small village" massive. I still haven’t touched the home fries, and I’m pretty sure that burrito will be lunch and dinner for the next two days. Another team member got the oats, which came with a whole lineup of toppings and looked like it could double as a meal plan.
They’ve also got some fun gourmet coffee options on the menu, which was a nice surprise. I tried one and instantly felt like I had my life a little more together.
Service was great, friendly and fast. Pricing was what you'd expect anywhere else for a sit-down breakfast, but considering the portion sizes, I felt like I was getting away with something.

This is the first time at this restaurant. Arrived at 830am and immediately got hot coffee! This is where Papacitos used to be.
They have done a nice job with the remodel with a welcoming atmosphere.
I ordered the scrambled eggs with potatoes and crispy bacon. It also included sourdough toast. It was a huge amount and could barely eat a third of it. I liked that the potatoes were a bit crispy as well as the bacon.
My friend got the omelet with potatoes and biscuits and gravy. The omelete had bacon and mushrooms and bell peppers along with sausage and smothered with cheese. HUGE portion!
Both meals were great and the service ( Hilary) was awesome!
They also had teas for sale and an ice cream station.
Right now they are not set up for serving alcohol. Btw..if you use a credit card you will be charged a minimal fee (1.25 approx.).
This place was clean and the owner was cheerful as well.
.Give them a chance - they have only been opened for approximately 1 month! Great portions!
Great addition to Oroville! Will...
Read moreVery disappointed! My family decided to try this new restaurant. We tried the beef Philly sandwich, chicken teriyaki Philly and the burger special of the day. The beef Philly…where’s the beef???? It had two pieces of beef folded over!!! Barely 2oz of meat!!!! Chicken teriyaki Philly-same deal WHERES THE MEAT! You couldn’t taste the chicken. Luckily there was one slice of red pepper and 4 slivers of red onion otherwise it would taste like the cheap hot dog bun it was served on!!! The burger special- terribly over cooked burger! Dry and flavorless burger patty exploded with avocado. And again served on a cheap bun. The only good item was the French fries. Waste of money and time! GO TO THE FEATHER RIVER CASINO if you want a REAL PRIME RIB SANDWICH with meat in it!!!!!! Oh yeah and the server was distracted barely gave us any “service” AND the restaurant wasn’t busy on a Monday afternoon. Boooooooooooo $18/sandwich not worth but $2...
