Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Oroville

I placed my order at 5:41 for cheese bread sticks, boneless bbq wings, a one trip salad, and a drink. After waiting a half hour and watching two parties that ordered after me get their orders I went up to the counter and waited for someone to come into view so I could ask the status of my order. Immediately when the lady working in back came into view she grabbed my order of bread sticks and brought them over. I asked how long the rest of my order would be and she said a few minutes. Another 13 minutes went by and still I had no pizza or wings. Again I had to get up and ask where my food was. Again as soon as they saw me they grabbed my order and brought it to my table. I made a point to ask where my boneless wings were and was told "they will be out in just a moment." Another 10 minutes go by and still no wings. When asked where they were to another worker the reply was totally different. "They have not even been put in." At least that lady was honest with me. she gave me a refund for the wings and after 53 minutes of crappy service and a night soured we left. The one honest worker can't excuse the rest of the experience and I didn't get the one thing that I wanted. The honest worker should get a raise and be looked at for promotion, there obviously needed to be either more people, more productive people, a manager on the clock, or a combo of all three. This is the first 5 star review I have ever left for a pizza place. I worked in pizza for a few years and I have a very strict sense on what I considered good food.

I will say things were not completely perfect for our order. I did ask for Jalapenos on one of our 2 pizzas and did not receive them. We also had one pizza that was very heavily topped in the center and not very much towards the edges.

Despite a few set backs, considering that these are not professional chefs and just young adults still trying to find their ways in life, we were very impressed. The pizza's themselves have a unique taste that we have never experienced on a pizza that was quite pleasing. There was a top layer of cheese, that most pizza places opt out of doing for a better appearance but not for a better product. Having all your toppings fall off is not ideal. Both pizzas had plenty of topping that were full of flavor and not plain tasting from cheap ingredients.

The price is not the greatest, but considering the actual taste and quality, it actual is really worth it. I tend to use big chains as a measuring stick for if a place is truly good or not. In this case, if I'm given the option of ordering Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Round Table or Mountain Mike's, I wouldn't even have to think on that. Unless the other options are free lol. But seriously, I am very pleased. My only sadness is the fact that we live roughly 12 hours away and will most likely not be eating Mountain Mike's for...

If I could give 0 stars then I would. We were there for a birthday party where everyone was ordering their own food. We told the cashier that we were with the part, but we were ordering separately for ourselves and we gave our name specifically to call out our name when our pizza arrived.The lady who brought the pizza out brought it to the main party table and other people were eating our pizza. She then brought out our other pizza and asked where we wanted that one and if we wanted it with our other pizza on the other table. We then told her that we wanted our pizza at our table and that the other one that the delivered was delivered to the wrong table. People ate some of our pizza. The lady was then extremely rude and said well don’t you share. She then said fine I will make you a new one and the took the other pizza back and said that it cost her $40. The customer service at this location is absolutely horrible and the lady was extremely rude. I will never come to this location again. The worker made a mistake and then took it out on a customer.
