Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Osage Beach

If I could give a half star I would, but to be fair most of my experiences with this Jimmy John's has been great until is wasn't, so today I got my usual sandwich and I always get extra oil & vinegar like I have for years, but this time it was like they pranked me because my sandwich had so much oil on it I was lost for words, it was all over the wrapper, running out of the wrapping and when I opened the wrapper it was pooling up into puddles I mean it was so bad I could not understand how this could possibly have happened besides someone intentionally ruining my food, then to top it off there was two pieces of hair, one on the outside and one on the inside, I was so upset I called the store, the kid that answered would not tell me his name and proceeded to tell me that oil on sandwiches just look like that, so I kindly explained that in the many many years of getting that exact same sandwich I have never seen that level of slop, before I could even get to the hair on my food, I had been talked over for the last time and decided to cut my losses, that level of incompetence and terrible customer service has made my decision for me, I will tell everyone I know about this and that they should...

I went and got a sandwich today (November 3) and I just wanna say the young man who made my sandwich did a damn good job. I walked in and he was working hard and I ordered my #11 country club with onions with my gift card and that fool tore it up back there and handed me my sandwich in like 2 minutes flat. And let me tell ya this is one tight sandy. I bet I could chuck this sandwich in front of a moving car and I could still unwrap it in perfect condition. Jimmy John's provides a quick and reliable meal that is something of an indulgence. I don't know exactly how they make regular cold cuts, regular veggies, and standard mayonnaise taste so good, but somehow it is better than I think I could do at home. Their bread may be the secret. It is simple but quite good. The staff really do make the sandwiches quick. I will often order with the app after work, and the sandwiches will be ready by the time I drive to the place. They also deliver very fast. The only thing I might say about their main competition, Subway, would be that their sandwiches are a little less customizable. This is good and bad, in that they make their standard sandwiches really fast, and they are really good. You just don't have all the choices of the other place.
