Skipping over the part where I split a soda all over myself, I cannot recommend this place enough! My partner and I finally made our way into the place after hearing nothing but amazing reviews around the community and they did not disappoint! We both are huge Mexican food lovers and this place is the perfect mix of a sit down restaurant but also a quick place to eat. I ordered the fish tacos and believe me I know my way around a good fish taco and these were a HIT! The perfect amount of spice (I can handle a little but nothing crazy) as well as the good crunch of the fish & cabbage. My boyfriend ordered a mix of chorizo, Al pastor, and steak tacos and he managed to scarf them all down while I was still on my first taco! He liked the al pastor the most but chorizo was a close second. We ordered the steak nachos to split (one of our necessities when eating Mexican food) and we had cleared the tray! Seriously so happy this place decided to open in Oshkosh, the staff was amazing and working so hard since it was constantly busy while we were there :) Already can’t wait to come back xx

Tried this place tonight and just want to start off by saying the hospitality was amazing. From the moment I walked in I was greeted. It took me and my daughter a while to order because we’re picky lol. Once we ordered the gentleman who took our order was so pleasant, he gave use a little back story of how the restaurant came about and that everything is made fresh in which I loved. He even went on to tell me about how to save and look out for specials in the money saver booklet. I ordered Steak Tostadas, gauc, and added fire peppers….AMAZING that should be added to the menu lol. My daughter ordered Asada Street Tacos and let me say she devoured those! The rice was nice and fluffy as well. I sat in the parking and read every single review/comment before walking in and I’m not sure what kind of experience you all had, but some of you just like to complain just to complain. Anywho I loved the food and the service and can’t wait to return to try other menu items! Give this place a try!

A pleasant surprise! The wife and I both wanted to try a new restaurant and decided on this one. We are both happy we did. The service is like a traditional fast food chain, order at the counter, get a buzzer, then grab your food when it’s ready. The cashier/order taker was pleasant and patient with us new people deciding on what to order. The food is excellent! Definitely will be back. I had the keto bowl with asada and it was great. The meat was tender and seasoned, the onions and green peppers had just enough char and softness, and the greens were fresh and crisp. The green and red sauce are mild and spicy respectively and are both very good. If more heat is wanted there is a selection of pepper sauces at the utensil and napkin counter. The wife had the shrimp tacos, Mexican style, and they were cooked properly (not rubbery) and the sauce had just a bit of a spice to it. Overall, a great experience and great meal. We’ll be back for more.

An excellent little restaurant with a ton of options. For what it is, it's awesome. It looks small, but when you get inside and look at the menu, it blows you away. They have practically everything, and they make it FAST! They have tamales by the order, lengua, chorizo, horchata, beer, desserts, pretty much everything that you could want from a sit down Mexican restaurant available in a convenient fast food format. Best of all, the food tastes great.

The service is great. The team is patient, and willing to answer any questions without seeming annoyed. They keep the place very clean, and they seem like a relatively happy bunch. From the outside looking in, they seem to enjoy where they work, and doing the job.

They have indoor and outdoor seating if you'd like to dine in. They have tables and booths, and then longer "longhouse" style tables and benches for a more communal approach to seating. The outdoor area has couches and comfy chairs, with pillows and some low tables.

Overall, a fantastic experience, far outside the usual taqueria experience in the back of a little store(I love those too!). It's worth the visit, and every penny. ...

I usually don't write reviews unless a place is REALLY bad. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with chips and bean dip as the appetizer. The contents in the bowl weren't even warm. The rice stuck together in clumps and only took up about 1/8 of the bowl. The bean dip wasn't even bean dip. It was all queso with streaks of pink in it, so it was pretty much all cheese. They also charged me for extra chips which was annoying, but they did the same to my friend so you can't help but notice that. Her food was cold as well, and the cheese in her quesadilla wasn't even melted. We could still see the shreds of cheese in it. The shrimp on her taco was cold, so she didn't even touch it because we were starting to wonder if this place would give us food poisoning. We went there at a pretty dead time, 4 pm, so how hard is it to take the time to serve your guests hot food? Both of our meals were over $20 but we ended up throwing out the majority of our food. We had to go to another place for food before we headed to our movie because we could hardly eat anything at this place. Save your money and go to Chipotle or Qdoba. Such a waste of money. First and last...

My boyfriend loves The Taqueria, I however only think that it is okay. There are other places I'd much rather go to for tacos but the food is good for the most part.

The prices are okay. I feel it's a bit pricey sometimes with the amount of food you get.

The service is interesting and not like other places and I think that throws some people off sometimes. They have menus you can grab and look at and when you're ready to order you order at the checkout. Once you're done ordering you pay and are given a buzzer. I don't think a lot of people are used to this so whenever I go, there are some people that get pretty confused. The workers are all pretty nice and helpful.

It can get a bit loud. They have the TV's up pretty loud but for the most part it's okay but I'd recommend to stay away from any of the seats directly under them. It makes it impossible to converse with anyone or enjoy your food. Whenever I go it's usually pretty busy, which also makes it pretty loud in there.

Overall the restaurant is decent. It's not a favorite of mine but I definitely go there a bit because of...
