This place deserves -5/5 stars. I went in with a $5 off reward I wanted to redeem only to find out I could only do it through the website which was tolerable. So I stepped off to the side and ordered on my phone.
I wanted 2 asiago focaccia loafs which I saw they had available. Selected the option "Focaccia bread with Asiago cheese" on their online menu, entered a quantity of two and checked out. I picked up my bread and drove home only to find out I was given plain focaccia loafs. Called the manager and came to the conclusion it automatically processes the order as plain even though I SPECIFICALLY SELECTED the Asiago Focaccia option. Manager stutters while explaining to me it is a problem with "higher corporate offices" and cannot refund or give me credit for my mistaken order but "will pass on the message to corporate to get it fixed" but I was not given any credit or complimentary service for getting ripped off.
Panera Bread, you do not justify poor customer service with good food. Thanks for ruining my experience PB. If only it was in my power to make sure nobody visits your restaurants ever again but alas, people are easily blinded by poor mistakes and are shepherded into giving you...
Read moreDirty and slow. Upon walking in I saw stacks of dirty dishes and overflowing trash cans in the dining area and behind the registers, debris and trash all over the floors. I ordered anyway and it took 14 minutes for the food to be ready: 1/2 sandwich and small mac-n-cheese. It was 3:15pm. I went to get our drinks and the drink station was disgusting, trash all over the counter, one soda was stuck on and pouring everywhere, there weren't any lids except for smashed ones scattered about the countertop. When I finally went to pick up our order the spoon I was given had food on it and teeth marks dragged through it. I took my order to the register and asked for a refund and was told "we're having a rough day." I received a refund and that was that. Go to Nordstrom...
Read moreI'm a bit torn going to Panera as often as I do. I prefer to frequent locally owned businesses, but some of the coffee shops in this area don't keep their places updated, air conditioned/heated properly, clean, etc.
I like Black Dog Coffeehouse, but they must think everyone comes in in shorts and t-shirts... hotter than hell in a coat and tie.
Homer's is good, but bit far "inland" from the major highways for many of my meetings.
Panera has lots of different seating areas available, quick and friendly service, and their in house coffee mug offers free refills. Hazlenut is my favorite... no sugar or...
