I would give this subway negative numbers if allowed. When I entered the store there was one other patron and they were making a sand which that I later found out was for a pick up. Once the sandwich comes out of the over the man putting the condiments noted that it was not to be toasted the entire time it was cooking it was taking the other guy that long to cut the bread for the next sandwich. They were very slow the entire time. I finally ordered my sandwich a steak egg and cheese and again it took several minutes for him to cut the bread. He begins to build my sandwich which was not like I have ever seen it built like that before. Then he leaves comes back putting on a new glove on one hand then leaves again bringing the egg which he puts in the oven For maybe 10 seconds pulls it out and plops it on top of the meat I mention to the other guy that I wanted provolone and the sandwich toasted. Once this was done he puts all the veggies on and when I asked for mayo and sweet onion sauce he told me there was none I had to point out that it was next to the mustard. At time of him ringing me up he didn’t know how the other guy came over and told him it was like this they told me it was $7 dollars I pointed to the menu that showed steak egg and cheese 6 inch is 3.99 plus tax all day at that point the one said no it’s 7 I told him I wasn’t pay for that when it said 3.99. He then yell at me to get out of the store. As I left I told other people who was waiting that this was the worse subway I had ever seen. Total time in the store was over 25 min and no food. Pitiful so glad my kids never treated customers that way when they worked at subway. Next time I’ll drive to 151 st they are much nicer and make the...
Read moreThe menu had good choices, even new items on the menu that looked good. But, OMG! The man behind the counter making the sandwiches did NOT change his food preparation glove (disposable plastic gloves) between customers. I was the fourth person in line. He started preparing a sandwich, finished it, bagged it, removed his thumb from the glove, (left the other four fingers in the glove)placed his thumb on a device to start the cash register, rang up the customer, handled CASH from one customer and placed his thumb back in the glove. BTW, the glove had a major hole between the thumb and finger. There are so many germs on paper currency and coins, more than the average person realizes. The more I thought about it, the more it sicken me. I finally threw my sandwich in the trash when I got home.
I also notice, when I pulled up to the store, someone (employee) smoking in front (10 feet away from the entrance). This person entered Subway, after finishing a cigarette, did not stop to wash her hands at the sink on the way to the back of the store, so I am hoping there is a sink with soap to wash her hands in the back.
I am at the point calling Johnson County Health Department on what I considered a unhealthy eating establishment (based on food preparation). Needless to say, I will not be returning to this Subway to eat and I hope and pray that not all Subways are like this one I just visited 45...
Read moreOn 10/5/24 @ 8:00 pm I've placed my order on line, I've paid for it on line and 10 minutes later my status said my order was ready, but when I went into the store to pick up my order it was not ready so one of the servers started making my order. The one server making my order didn't act enthusiastic to be there working and I also didn't pick up a good vibe from him. After making two of my sandwiches (footlong and 6") with bread that I've requested on my third footloong sandwich he mentioned they were all out of bread and the only bread was left was flatbread. So, I told him I 've already paid for my order on line. He didn't apologize, he just looked at me saying nothing, (terrible customer service) in overall he acted like he didn't care.I've gave him the ok to use the flat bread, when he made the third sandwich with the flat bread it was made super sloppy and the flat bread looked like a tortilla wrap. If a business is ran the store should always stay stocked with the servers conducting good customer service as well!! They had customers waiting over 20 minutes for their sandwiches to be made, they told one customer that her order would take about an 1/2 hour before they can start working on her order and a couple of other customer saw the long line they turned around and walked out. Super sad! I will not be returning back at this...
