Why does the Bufallo Wild Wings at 105 and Metcalf hate me? I wish I could tell you what a great place this is. The food is usually good and the servers are friendly. The reason I can not say this place is great is because it doesn't seem to matter if it's dine in or carry out it's slow. I dined in one time over my hour lunch and ended up being 45 mins late back to work. I work across the street so it wasn't traffic that made me late. This time, I'm picking up an online order. The pick-up time was set for 1:00. I figured ordering it an hour before I wanted to pick it up would give enough time for me to not have to waste part of my lunchtime waiting. I'm really not shocked that I'm left sitting waiting. I'm sure everyone is tired after making everyone in the lunch rush late. If there were more than 4 tables full, I might be more understanding. Come on, Buffalo Wild Wings do better. I am only one person, and after this review, I won't bother to tell anyone about this experience. This is just how I plan on spending my time waiting for my order to get done. I have as much time as you care to give me. I sit here watching people avoid eye contact with customers walking in. Of course, the person who should be manning the register is walking around playing on their phone. Why not surely no one else has anything more important to do. I could throw a fit and be a first-class Karen, but why would I want a discount on a future visit so I can have the same experience at another time. I realize my order is difficult. I mean, I did order 2 different kinds of wings at the same time. All in all, I sat in the restaurant being ignored for who knows how long after giving an hour of prep time. I could leave, but if it takes this long to get food, how long would it take to get a refund. I mean, really, now I just wanna see how glacial a restaurant with the word hot in the name can be. One guy came in ordered picked up his food, and left. Here I sit, still waiting. Person number 2 has come in ordered and picked up his order while still I wait. Oh excitment now there are 2 people waiting along with me to be acknowledged. Well to be honest I have been acknowledged so the could tell me they are working on my order. Of course that was 36 mins ago. Ok got my order only 37 mins. For the other people still...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlaced an order online to have some wings for the Chiefs game. They were supposed to be ready at 7:10. I got there early to make sure I was there when they came out.
I am an understanding guy. They were absolutely slammed so I understand that my wings weren't out right on time. 20 minutes after my scheduled pick up time I asked them about my order and they told me that it wasn't ready yet (but they didn't even go back to look). I told them okay, and asked how long it was going to be. They didn't have an answer. I waited another 20 minutes and asked them again. They actually went around the corner to pretend to check my order, and then came back and told me it should be out soon. It's 8 o'clock by this time. Around 8:15 I went back up to the counter and they said I was one of the next ones so it shouldn't be too much longer. Around 8:45 I am visibly upset about having wasted 2 hours of my time and they double check their computer to tell me that my order wasn't actually placed and they had no record of it.
I showed them my receipt and told them that I had been charged. They said that it didn't follow through into their system and there wasn't anything they could do and told me that I had to follow up with the manager the next day. I asked them if they could just make it really quick and they told me no because it wasn't right to cut all the other people in front of me. I told them that I felt like it wasn't cutting the line since I had been waiting there for 2 hours but they wouldn't work with me, so I was forced to leave.
The next day I called and talked to the manager who said he was going to look into a refund for me. He said he'd call me back, but there was not any follow up, so I went in the next day so he could process the refund for me. They gave me a small 6 piece to compensate for my time, but it seemed like a major inconvenience to everyone I spoke with.
I was looking forward to the hot BBQ sauce ever since they brought it back and it really just was a terrible experience from the start. I loved BWW, but this experience has made it so I probably won't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTruthfully, this doesnāt deserve 1 Star. Our table order chips & salsa, chips & queso, and a side salad to come out before our dinner. We had to ask 3 times before getting all of these. After the second time we asked, he still ignored the request, sat down while bussing another table, and talked to his co-worker. When he brought out the garden side salad, he placed a side of ranch on the table with a āhope ranch is okay since you didnāt tell me otherwiseā comment. The side salad says it comes With a white wine vinaigrette. He did not refill waters in a timely fashion. Keep in mind this was 9pm on a Tuesday and there were a total of five tables in the restaurant. For my dinner, Iād ordered a salad and a side of fries (that did not come with ranch) and specifically asked for no cheese. When our food came out, my salad had a full serving of cheese and no fries. I handed the salad back and told him I asked for no cheese because of my dairy allergy. He took it back to the kitchen and brought a ānewā salad out. Still no fries. The chicken was obviously moved around and everyone at my table could see remaining cheese shreds. I handed the salad back and asked him to just forget about it and remove it from my bill. I made eye contact with the manager when he returned it the second time and she did not make any prompt efforts to pay our table a visit. A few minutes later, I finally got my fries. A few moments after that, the manager on duty stopped by. She placed the blame on me because I did not share my allergy (even though I did). She did offer to make another salad. I declined because my friends were more than halfway through their meal. She did offer to send me home with a to-go salad. Which I also declined because I had little faith they could get it right. In short, the service was so bad the server even began laughing at his many mistakes. The manager was in no hurry to make things right and offered a half-baked apology. It would take a LOT for me to ever visit another Buffalo Wild Wings. A lot. Iāll be sure to experience this dinner that I hope becomes comical...
