Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe — Restaurant in Owasso

I’m going to start with a positive then explain why I only gave this a 2 star rating. Our positive is flavor- taste wise this was good. However price- not. We purchased 2 sandwiches, a mac n cheese and 2 drinks - 36.$ is entirely too high for the value of food we got. I ordered a chicken salad- based on the menu photo online it looked like your balance of salad to bread looked worth trying. NO, I had 3/4 bread to 1/4 chicken salad. For 8.99 this is not value for dollar spent. If I had not gone through drive thru I would have brought it back to counter with my phone and asked why my sandwich doesn’t resemble your online photo version? Ugh and the mac n cheese - buyers beware- while the flavor was good- the price point for a small container maybe a cup of m & c with a dollop of toppings… so not worth 9$. Now to the bigger issue as to what led me to take the time to leave this poor google review- the young man working the drive thru service today had zero friendlies. My husband asked his how his day was - he shut the window in his face. (How rude) Then when we asked for anything (cup of ice & forks) he behaved as though he was disgruntled. Literally the only words spoken were to reiterate the bill total. I get everyone has bad days but wow.

Had high hopes but I probably would not eat here again. My 10 year old son ordered the White cheddar mac, and at $9 I did not expect it to come in a small snack size togo container with a fork attached using masking tape. Honestly it would look better if we were just handed a fork, the choice to use plain masking tape is an odd one. I had to share my food with him because he was still hungry, since it was about the same amount as a kraft macaroni cup.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was ok, but even though we were dining in it was brought in a togo box. When I tried to clean up my table I found that there was no way to put the pizza box in the trash so I was forced to leave it on my table instead.

Another strange decision was placing the drink machine right next to the door. The exit is a choke point because you have people lining up to fill their drinks, and blocking the door, so you have people waiting for others to fill their drinks so they can get out of the building.

Ordering can get confusing as you have to tell someone your order to "get it started", then you go to the cashier and tell them all over again what you want. We had a small group of 4, and our 4th had to come to the cashier to ask us a question then by that time another group had started to order, so she ended up just having to give the cashier the order anyway since she...

My 6 year old, who loves pickles, has been excited to try this place since it opened. We just assumed that a place called Picklemans would have a pickle bar or something. We were sad to find out that we were wrong. They actually charge you extra for pickles. Ordering was a big problem, it was so confusing. I tried to order 2 sandwiches, a pizza and a small thing of soup. The kid on the other side of the counter must hate his job b/c he was beyond rude. I know he had a hard time hearing us b/c the music was way too loud. I had to tell him my order 3 times! And after every item he said "what else". I get over to the cashier and the two kids standing there were equally rude. I had to tell them my order again several times. Then they tried to make me leave without my pizza . The girl that packed up my pizza didn't wear gloves and had long gross looking nails. I finally got everything and we decided to take it home. The place is so small inside, very little seating and has something white oozing from the walls. It's gross. We tried all the food. It was just ok. Nothing special. The pizza was good, but not great. The other sandwiches were just ok. The tomato soup was also gross. It had an oily film on top and chunks of white or yellow stuff in it. Yuck.
