Ordered exactly the same pizza I order in Davison almost every week, except I got mediums instead of larges. I ordered through the Domino's app, which I use every time I order. What I received was the worst looking pizza I've received in 40 years of ordering pizzas. It looked SO bad, I would have called the customer to make sure they actually wanted it - I ordered extra cheese and no mushrooms or green peppers and received on one half no sauce of any kind, mushrooms and green peppers and the steak all burned up on one half and the other half also had the items I removed and a scant amount of cheese. I mean, like I ordered light cheese. I was still charged for two extra toppings despite receiving half a handful of cheese on one half of the pizza.
So I assume that it's a simple error- the Davison store has never failed to remake a pizza and often calls when they want to be certain that a substitution will be okay or something. I call and a very young girl just kept telling me that the pizza was ordered that way. I literally just adjusted my customary order and why would I be charged for TWO EXTRA TOPPINGS and receive a pizza that I personally would have been embarrassed to send out the door? So I ask for the shift manager and she also insisted that the pizza was made as ordered. I could almost believe that except why charge for two extra toppings? And honestly, who wants a few ingredients thrown on a dry, bare pizza crust? She was just not going to budge.
I just gave up and did what she wanted and reordered. I spent almost $60 for two medium pizzas and a 2 liter of pop. My sister is dying of cancer and the Philadelphia Steak and Cheese pizza is the only thing that has sounded good to her in weeks. She was so worked up about me being ripped off that by the time the second pizza showed up, it took considerable coaxing to get her to settle down and enjoy it. I assumed it was a hassle, but Domino's would make it right.
I have contacted Customer Service via their online customer service link and haven't received even an acknowledgement response. Why offer an online customer service option if it's simply ignored? Sure, I can call, but really? I am at max capacity caring for a woman who can barely eat. If she gets a taste for anything, I jump on it. But she's out of luck if she wants Domino's from Owosso- almost SIXTY DOLLARS for two mediums and a 2 liter of soda. Zero customer service. Don't order pizza from Owosso. Davison? Fantastic customer service, pizza is always great, and they are very reliable. I am willing to cut folks some slack, especially on the weekends when they're super busy but there was no way on Earth I'd have given that first pizza to a customer without first confirming that they actually wanted what I'm told came through the app. It was truly...
Read moreBeen ordering from this store in Owosso for many years. Placed an online order and with instructions for the delivery driver to place order on the front porch chair. We had the front door open waiting for our order. A text was sent that our order was complete. Didn't notice anyone come up to the porch so got up to look and no pizza on the chair as instructed. Decided to check the back door. There was the pizza on the railing. The back porch isn't big and therefore no chair could even be placed there....Anyway upon picking up the pizza it did not feel warm. Not knowing how long it was sitting there we knew it was long enough to get cold. Called the store and the driver answered and was rude. She claimed she knocked for five minutes. Sorry but that is not true. We have a dog who barks when someone knocks especially at the back door. Asked to speak to the manager who was just as rude and hung up. So drove to the store to return the order and get a refund to my card. Manager was rude and threw a receipt that only says bad review. Immediately after the receipt was thrown they called the police saying they have a disgruntled customer who won't leave. Waited for the police. Didn't get arrested but the officer was so much more polite. Sad that this rotten tooth so called manager is the reason I won't order from there again or even recommend...
Read moreI really feel for the employees here. Placed a pick up order online because delivery was unavailable. The app told me 30 minutes until it was ready, so when the tracker said it was done, I headed that way. I get there and they can't find my order among what looked like 40 different boxes of food awaiting pick up, and they couldn't find my ticket. They were obviously busy and employees were clocking out, leaving just 2 employees to figure out the chaos that was unfolding. The remaining 2 employees eventually found my ticket and discovered that the employee in charge of finishing the order left before doing so. They quickly corrected the issue and remained friendly and calm the entire time. I eventually got my order, and they comped the whole thing for me. I was grateful and ended up tipping them $20. I work in a restaurant and know how hard it can be, and it wasn't their fault being understaffed and not fully trained ( I believe one of them was just a delivery driver trying to help the only guy in there). The food was okay, considering half sat there for awhile and the other half was made by someone who obviously isn't fully trained in how to prepare pizzas yet. But, usually the pizzas are quite good. This is definitely the first negative experience I have had in probably the 2 years I've been ordering here. And I get pizza at least...
