Val's Pizza — Restaurant in Owosso

Ok I love their food and usually have very good things to say about them BUT I placed an order of $60 online today that consisted of two 1/2 IB cheese burgers, an order of cheese sticks and stuffed peppers(which they always put in the same container which I was not happy with because then I have to separate and pick through them to be able to give what belongs to each person) an order of curly fries, a 20 piece chicken wing, and a large deluxe nachos. They send me the email saying it's going to be 40 minutes so I'm not paying attention and not ten minutes later the delivery girl knocks so I'm coming into the room to pay and see my mother answering the door with the cash in hand already plus the tip. The woman hands my mother a large paper bag packed to the top with our orders, which they usually put a couple of things in a bag so I'm expecting two bags atleast. Anyways the bag as it's getting handed to her it starts to tip and then fall to the ground. The deluxe nachos were on the very top of the one bag so of course it's the first thing to fall onto the floor in the doorway and I have a huge mess on my new carpet to clean up. The box with the wings was also dropped and I had to throw away 4 of the wings that got flung out. I got the rest of the bags contents onto my kitchen table and find out that the small containers of ranch had splattered all over the other containers and it pissed me off that at the very bottom of the bag is the curly fries that are all crushed including the container. I went back to the front door to talk to the delivery girl whom I gave a good tip that was included in the money my mom handed her before anything happened because when it happened she said it was her fault about the nachos and was going to get them replaced since my mother dropped the box of wings when she tried to catch the bag of food and she's not there. So I call and get the boss on the phone to explain what happened. Not only wouldn't he replace the nachos and fries since they were the only unsalvagble foods that were inedible even though it was the girl's falt but the girl also lied and said she put our orders in two bags! Now logically if that was true then my mother wouldn't have had a single bag overflowed and packed wrong flying at her from the door way. The last straw was when he hung up on me when I insisted that he replace the lost food and the delivery girl was lying. So congratulations on losing a good customer because of your rudeness, the stupidity of your delivery girl/driver and the waste of money on food I didn't get to eat with a tip that girl definitely did...

Where do I begin? My family just moved to Owosso, and so we’re trying out all the restaurants. We tried Vals today and I have to say honestly, this might just be the best pizza and wings we’ve all ever had, even my children said it was “really good”. Starting with the pizza: You ask for toppings, they do not hold back. Cooked pretty well all things considered, albeit a little underdone in the middle. Nice size with very fair prices. The Wings: They stole the show, the crispiest, juiciest, and most flavorful chicken money can buy. I asked the women on the phone for the spiciest sauce on the menu, she recommended the Habanero Sauce. This sauce was not hot, but warm, with a cannon ball of flavor, I cannot recommend that sauce more, even with your pizza. Needless to say, Sal’s pizza has some forever customers, and we will be telling everybody about how amazing this food was, on top of being fairly priced.

We saw them on tiktok! Lived in O for 7 years now and hadn't gotten around to trying Val's until the video convinced us it would be worth our while. We have been missing out completely!! This is by far the best pizza in town. Perfect pizza starts with a solid foundation: the dough. Val's Pizza knows exactly what they're doing. Their pizza crust is exceptional: soft, chewy, flavorful and crispy on the outside. Best sauce, too, not acidic or sour, perfectly complements the dough. You can tell they care about their family business and what they produce, bc their customer service is stellar. They're very helpful and patient, taking time answering any questions, making sure you get what you want. And you can tell they only use quality ingredients bc we had a few leftovers that sat in the fridge for two days that reheated perfectly, the crust was still wonderful. Val's is definitely our family's go-to pizza place...
