UPDATED: Adjusted to 3 stars. The restaurant remade our meal, and we will give them another chance. However, it was an unpleasant experience and at the end of the day, if a customer calls and says the food doesn’t taste right / taste good, the manager should never argue with the customer.

As much as a I hate to leave a one star review, our experience today warrants it. My husband called to express our disappointment with his chicken lomein, which had no flavor or seasoning. He just ordered lomein a few nights ago from this same place and it was flavorful with lots of sauce. When he called in, the employee put a manager or owner or someone in charge on the phone, and all they wanted to do was cut him off and argue with him. We have ordered from Zheng’s many, many times, but they just lost our business. First rule of any customer based industry - don’t argue with your customers. He was being respectful, and yet he was treated with nothing but rudeness...

Today was my first time ordering from Zheng. I had Kung Pao chicken with fried rice (which came with an egg roll) and an order of spring rolls. As some other reviewers mentioned the fried rice is just yellow rice, no additions. This is a little disappointing but not a deal breaker. I'll start with the spring rolls, the best I've ever tasted! Very crispy, not soft and soggy.

The King Pao chicken was very good with lots of water chestnuts (my favorite). It was not overly spicy but had a good kick.

Over all the small serving was more than I could eat in one sitting and the price was very reasonable.

It was too late for delivery so I picked it up this time. The girl who got my food together and rang me up was nice and helpful when I asked a question about a dish. I look forward to next time and maybe I'll try...

I've ordered several times from here and all were good meals. This time I opened the cartons and started serving the lo-mein noodles after which I realized it was not all my order. I had also acquired a dish I had not ordered. Just then the delivery person knocked at the door and announced, "I gave you the wrong order!" mental note: check the reciept against the order. I thought they just forgot some of the order. I called the restaurant and told them. I gave her back the food that my kids had not eaten and she gave me the right order. I hope she didn't have to pay for the mistake but it was her mistake. Her excuse, "They gave me three different orders!"! ...
