The WORST🤮 take-out I have ever experienced at Mangos!!. Spent almost $50, got home & our food was floating in grease & water!! I got Chile Relleno with beans and rice. The Chile seed pod with the seeds and veins was left inside, and the Chile had not been charred nor peeled.. it was very tough and disgusting. There is no way to eat this!! The yellow rice had no flavor at all. Very Bland... The refried beans were the same, no flavor, very Bland.....

Quesadillas Fajita, grilled steak had no seasoning for flavor, the bottom of the tortilla turned into mush because the cold salad was placed in the same container with the hot Fajita and had sweated so much, the salad was floating in water... NO one can eat soggy wet food!!..

Beef Burrito with cheese sauce, although the menu did not specify the beef would be ground up hamburger meat, paying $8.95 tacks on more disappointment to what I have already experienced.

After placing my order, I asked a server, "Is the food that's prepared here truly authentic?". Her reply was,"NO, it depends on what you are ordering"... The reasturant menu plainly states, "AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD" which was the reason I went to Mangos in the first place.... I can testify that the food that I had was NOT authentic.

What a waste of time and money! I will never spend another dollar to support this establishment. I am giving 1 star for this review only for...

I've been a local customer at mangos for years, but after today I will NEVER be back. The service was terrible, the food came out separately and by the time my food got to me it was cold as ice! I asked for a strawberry lemonade from the bar and the bartender told the waiter that she wasn't making it and that it was "his job" to make it. He never made it because he didn't want to. Meanwhile she was making other drinks and serving everyone else. The manager is just as terrible. His excuse for her not making it was "she's busy." He never came back to the table to ask how my family and I were, but he walked around that entire restaurant asking others were they ok and if they needed anything. The waiter never came back to check on us to ask if we needed anything, refills, nothing. I have never felt and been treated so poorly by an establishment that I always support. It was awful and I refuse to spend another dime towards a restaurant who has workers who lack hospitality and respect. Everyone was rude. I still tipped the waiter over $20 just to prove that all African Americans aren't cheap or rude. Worse experience I've had at mangos and I...

When we first began eating at Mangos, we loved the food. The portions were ample. In recent weeks, we have ordered take-out. I have noticed a pattern of take-out...the portions are significantly smaller than if you dine-in at the same price. I usually get the Mexican spaghetti. Dining in, I have enough to take home and enjoy for lunch the next day. Last night (like four other tines we have gotten take-out), the portion size was so small that I could see the bottom of the container through the food. All of our dishes were small. The meat was overcooked, and one dish was missing ingredients. We spent $84 for four meals and got two small containers of salsa for three large bags of chips. It's just the basic, not really caring for the customer type of service these days. Now, adding on to the original post of a couple of months ago. The service has continued to decline. We dined in person on 5-5-25 hoping that sit-down service would be better. We spent $65 for two people. My wife's fajita was burned and my $20 burrito was full of refried beans and tomatoes with very little steak. Never again....

Very nice establishment, with welcoming and considerate employees. I had a party of 9 come in, and we were seated in a timely manner and all tended to efficiently. Everyone's orders were served quickly, with no delay and we were all satisfied with our food. There was one plate that came out later than everyone else's, but that was expected since the dish ordered takes a little while longer than the rest. I'm sorry, but I can't remember which item that was, but be warned that one type of dish on the menu takes longer to cook than the rest! You've been warned! 😂 I ended up ordering the build-your-own dinner meal, where you pick 2-3 items and you get rice and beans on the side. I chose a burrito, tamale, and I want to say quesadilla? I forgot what the last one was, I just picked random items off the list since I liked them all.
