Furthermore, it also has a deli that has cooked pollo (chicken) dishes, carnitas (pork rendered in its fat), and tamales (chicken, pork and cheese).
We tried the carnitas - 8 out of 10 (excellent, but there is store that serves more succulent), and the tamales - 10 out of 10 (these taste exactly like the ones my wife's grandmother made - and like my wife's - authentic).
You can purchase raw al pastor (fried pork for taco meat). All you have to do is throw the contents of a bag they give you in a skillet with oil and heavy garlic powder, and you will love it. Truly, if you have never had al pastor, you are missing out on one of the best flavors in the world. The preparation takes hours, but that work has been done for you.
They have fresh tortillas and Mexican donuts. A Mexican donut is wort a try, too, especially if you find American donuts on the sweet side. These are slightly sweet, a perfect compliment to coffee.
