I had heard good things about this place and was excited to visit with friends. The manager and staff were very friendly as we arrived. I asked about gluten free options and was happy to learn they have a bread option that can be substituted for any sandwich or toast. They also have a penne option for any pasta dish. I was very excited about a gluten free waffle and chose that along with breakfast potatoes. Shortly after we ordered, the atmosphere changed. Most of the staff stood around, not doing much of anything.
We each had ordered the hot chocolate and when delivered it was room temperature. The waitress dropped them off and disappeared. When she returned with our food, my waffle was hard and dry. It came with a half of an unripe strawberry on top, a small metal dish with butter and another with syrup. Nothing was hot, it was room temperature. Even the potatoes were cold. It took another 10 minutes for the server to come back around so I could ask for additional syrup to try and soften the waffle up. I choked down less than half. Very disappointing.
When I asked for the manager I was told he had left.
It was a $30.00 breakfast. A cup of cold chocolate, a hard dry waffle and a half cup of cold soggy potatoes. Not including tip.
I will not be going back. So...
Read more1st timer and took my Wife on a date after work. This was the 1st time in a LONG time I was blown away by a restaurants food. Worth every single penny. We had deviled eggs to start they were super delicate and nice. I had the Chicken Alla Vodka and everything was perfect, the sauce, spagetti and the breaded chicken was all so perfect. I tried so hard to finish everything but couldn't. The portion was perfect as well and came in a bread type bowl which was cool and delicious. My wife had the Shrimp FRA Diavolo and she loved it as well. The host was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave us a quick run down since it was our 1st time. Our waiter was super nice and was very knowledgeable as well and helped me choose between 2 plates. Had a brief conversation with him as well before we paid about other restaurants. All in all we will be back and can't wait to try something else. Also there was a line when we got there and an even longer line when we left, and this is a weekday. So I'd show up 15-30 mins before the time you...
Read moreCame here on a Saturday for brunch, and there was luckily no wait. I got the breakfast charcuterie ($21) and shared the truffle mac and cheese side ($10) with a friend. The breakfast charcuterie was beautifully presented, and the combination was unique, although most of the items weren’t anything unique (smoked salmon, avocado, fried egg, Brie, grapes, roasted tomato). The candied pistachios and whipped burrata were the most unique items and were surprisingly good! I don’t usually like burrata, but it was good whipped (light and mild flavor). The smoked salmon and avocado were obviously good. The fried egg was cold. The chili crunch sauce was all right - it didn’t have a strong flavor. The focaccia bread didn’t taste fresh and didn’t have a strong flavor. The mac and cheese was solid. It was hot, and the top was crunchy. It was quite cheesy, although I like my mac and cheese thicker. It didn’t have a strong...
