Food and service was fair at best. We arrived at 2:15 and when we asked if we could be seated outside was told no because they were closed. I stated that the hours posted said they closed at 2:30. We asked if we could take out since we could not get a table, and that was allowable with their posted closing time looming. We ordered the following dishes to share: pad see ew, drunken noodles, pad thai, and spicy thai basil. The best of these was the drunken noodles, and they were average at best.
Lunch dishes were all under $12 and included soup. We order five lunch specials and we did not receive one order of soup. One of our noodle dishes had burnt veggies which tainted the taste of the noodles and sauce.
The pad thai was incredibly disappointing. I am used to pad thai dishes having bean sprouts, cilantro sprigs, and ground peanuts sprinkled on top. We ordered two pad thai dishes and asked for medium spice. The medium spice dish appeared to be prepared no differently than the mild one. The cooks just sprinkled the top of all the noodles with thai pepper flakes. My experience when ordering thai is that the spices are incorporated into the sauces not added seasoning after cooking. Further, the veggies were sparse and the tofu was soggy. The sauce was sweet and greasy, too.
I would not recommend this restaurant if you are searching for delicious and authenticly prepared thai. I was disappointed we tried this restaurant instead of one further away in Monterey. Also, if your restaurant advertises being open until 2:30, be open until 2:30.

Read moreThe first time we ordered from this restaurant was in 2014. There was a hair in our food and we stayed away from this restaurant for many years. We recently ordered on November 23rd for takeout. The food tasted fresh and we were pleased. We thought maybe we misjudged the establishment and gave them another chance. On December 1st, we ordered takeout at 300. We tried the Spicy Thai Basil Seafood, which turned out to be a much higher price point than what we were expecting. The pieces of basil were huge, there was no spice, none, and the few pieces of seafood tasted old. The jasmine rice was dry and looked old. The Drunken noodles were filled with what tasted to be old vegetables, certainly not freshly cut. When we tried to serve the noodles they stuck together. Were we served this old food because it was not lunch or dinner? This by far is one of the worst meals and we were disappointed to have spent $40 on food that should have been thrown out and certainly not...
Read moreI sat in this restaurant convinced that it was a good choice. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was the only inviting thing here. We were sitting since 20 seconds at our table when the waitress came for our food order. After saying that we just arrived and needed more time, she left, showing that she was very annoyed and came back 2 minutes later. For the second time we had to say that we needed more time. She came again few seconds later, pushing us to order quickly. As it seems, the kitchen closes at 8:30 and we arrived at 8:10. A word about it would have been better, instead of pushing us to order and then eat quickly in a very rude way. She almost threw our plates on the table, same with the check. Terrible service, no attitude. No sense of hospitality, terrible management. Food is very average. I ordered a mix vegetables with oyster sauce. It was so sweet, it was hard to finish it. We will for sure never come back and won’t...
