Captain D's — Restaurant in Paducah

To start, I have always ate here. I use to work at frazolis and never felt The way I felt today when I went in. For one, you have to come in now to get your online order. I have always been able to go to the drive Thur. It’s quicker and easier to go to the drive Thur I’m normally only in line for 5 mins but today I had to wait 12 mins I side. Clearly aggravated and realizing I’m going to be late clocking back in for lunch I said we would not be ordering online again. Just because it takes to long when you go in anywhere. The order said it would be ready at 3:18 I walked in at 3:20 bc I had to park and go in. By 3:32 they handed it to me. The cook in the back said he was working on it but was rather rude. I felt even more annoyed at nice I got back to work and I had to time to eat bc I had to clock back in and we were busy. So they were not only rude… but made me late and I didn’t get to eat. We came in today and as we stood in line there was another couple ordering and we watched the employee (man) that was taking the order, stick his finger in his ear and dig.. then had tobacco in his mouth. After he was done taking the couples order, he tells the other employee to take our order because he had to go back and COOK. We immediately left and were disgusted!! All employees should be considerate and CLEAN to serve the public. This was very concerning especially for the public! Must be under staffed as well if the “Cook” had to take order or the employees are just plain LAZY. We will never be back here because i know any complaints made, management wont address this issue to employees on how it is crucial to be hygienic in the public however it is sad anyone has to be told to be Clean. anyone can get sick by these actions. I Love their Fish but the Service stinks !

Took me 20 times of going to dinner there and the dining room being closed and no one answering at the drive thru before I wrote this review. Google Maps says they close at 9pm , I’ve been there over 20 times anywhere from 6:30pm to 8pm and Dining room was closed and no one answered at the drive thru. I’m tired of making the trip and they not be open. This all started during Covid of not enough employees and dining rooms being shut down , but Covid is way over and employees are running the store and shutting the doors when they want to while who even knows where Management is ? I’ve seen this going on with a lot of Restaurants and it has put most of them out of business and closed the doors. I hate to see it happen because I Love there Fish.
