We are officially done with Chili's. The quality of the food at this store especially has gone down hill quickly. The service is hit or miss but tonight our waitress was the worst yet. It took her quite a few minutes to get to us but that wasn't too big of a deal. She took our drink & food orders together and promptly brought out our drinks. Didn't see much of her after that. It took about 8 minutes to get our soup (brought out by someone else). Then when we were halfway through our soup, our food arrived (brought out by another someone else). I had to ask him for silverware because she didn't leave any on the table for us. I was able to flag her down for my salsa and she did bring that out. When we were about halfway through our meal, she asked if we'd like dessert. We were in the middle of the meal, not thinking about dessert, so we told her no. She came over 2 more times to ask if wanted dessert, the last time saying 'you did say you didn't want any dessert, right?' She brought out our bill and she'd charged us for the entertainment on the table kiosk. Well it didn't have paper in it and had a note on the screen to contact the server. So she said someone else at a different table had our kiosk and she'd take it off. About 5 min. later she came to clear our plates and said "oh, no one came to fix this yet?" and grabbed the receipt and plates and walked in the back. About 5 more minutes later she brought out the correct receipt. I put my card on the table and she came and picked it up. Now our total for the meal was $41.99. She brings me back a receipt to sign and had only charged me $19.99. My goodness, pay attention! So I had to wait again for her to come back out and I showed her she hadn't charged me enough and she said "oh my god" and took the receipt and walked in the back again. Finally she comes out, lays the receipt down and said 'thank you for your honesty' and turned around and walked away. So this receipt had the full amount. I wanted to make sure she hadn't double charged me but she was already at another table. So I went to the front and asked someone for the manager. She came out and I said that the waitress had undercharged me, then fixed it and I wanted to make sure she didn't charge me for the $19.99 also and the manager assured me she had fixed the problem. My statement is showing the correct amount so I'm confident it's correct. My food was fair. The Chicken Enchilada Soup was yummy as always but my quesadillas were nothing special and the 'homemade pico de gallo' consisted of chopped up tomatoes. My husband got the Ribeye and it was horrible. He said it tasted like a sirloin and I took a bite and it was mealy. The corn on the cob was dry and over seasoned. We live in a rural area and this Chili's isn't too far so it's convenient to go to. But we're done. We've had one too many bad servers and one too many bad meals. Adios' Chili's! And Amanda, be sure to share that sad tip I left you with your co-workers that did most...
Read moreI went in very late .. about 8:30, but there open til 10 so I figured it would be fine. When we ordered our drinks my friend ordered a blue long island ice tea we were told that they didn’t have all the ingredients to make one after they brought the drinks. Needless to say they were Un drinkable. I ordered a gym beam and Coke because it was two for one I was given two options either both shots in a tall glass or one shot each shot glasses I prefer my drinks week so I ordered a one shot in a tall glass the bartender said back both shots in a tall glass it was too strong for me to drink. When the appetizer arrive I had ordered the 341 platter I ordered a gym beam and Coke because it was two for one I was given two options either both shots in a tall glass or one shot each in short glasses I prefer my drinks week so I ordered a one shot in a tall glass the bartender sent back both shots in a tall glass it was too strong for me to drink. When the appetizer arrives I had ordered the three for one platter With western eggrolls, onion petals, and buffalo boneless wings. The western eggrolls were so small you can each eat each one was one bite. There was only eight onion petals in the entire platter, but the buffalo boneless wings were good. We both ordered the most expensive steaks on the menu. He ordered his medium rare I ordered mine medium. When his right it was very very very rare. He didn’t want to send it back so he ate just the edges. Mine was so well done I could not even cut into it. I did send mine back and when it came back it was also so rare that there was blood running off the plate. The total bill was over $100. Our waitress was amazing so I left a 20% tip because she really wanted to help I just felt like there was no help to be found. When we left the restaurant was closing so I called the following morning today and I was told that I should’ve mentioned something the night before because they were there till 2 AM. I was not offered any gift certificates or anything like that just that I’m sorry. I’m very disappointed in my experience there. We go there all the time. Have never had such a bad experience. I really expected some kind of gift certificate or something to be offered but I guess my business is not that important to them. I hope you guys have better luck than I did. If you need to get in touch with me.. my email is...
Read morePlaced an order for pick up at chilli's in palatka on state road 19. We ordered the 2 for25 meal deal. My wife ordered mango chicken with black beans and rice and fries. Their weren't black beans the chicken was ok, but didn't come with any kind of sauce. She said it was very dry. I ordered dry rubbed ribs with fries and broccoli, and a chocolate chip cookie for later. My French fries tasted like McDonalds where they sit under that heat light to try try to keep them fresh. But that was not the case in this situation. The fries tasted like they were sitting around forever, they were extremely soggy, and just had that taste of old french fries. Then when I got to the ribs, they were dry rubbed because l love to taste the flavor of the meat than sauce to me it makes a Huge difference, now you think ribs would be fall off the bone tender and juicy, and delicious. That was not the case. Let's put it this way. Out of that whole meal the best part of it was the broccoli 🥦. The ribs were so dry I could have put a brick on my plate, and gotten better flavor from the brick. Then when I went in to pick up my order all the person was concerned about was the tip, and how much I was going to leave. In conclusion if you want a dry cold tasteless meal, with a waitress who's only concern is the tip and how much you are going to leave. THIS IS THE BEST PART. You go to a Nice Restaurant looking for a good home cooked meal, or something different. Then when you get home, and your juice's are flowing, and you're Hungry. Then you open the bag up to a big disappoinment. So if you're looking for a Place where to eat. Where the food is cold, the ribs are dryer than a brick, and no quality control. Waitresses that are only worried about how much of a tip you are going to leave,THEN CHILLI'S IN PALATKA IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.AS FOR ME AND MY WIFE WE DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RETURNING ANYTIME...
