I have never left a review that started with "If I could leave no stars I would", but here we are. Congratulations Panda Express. I came through their drive thru while it was busy, so usually you'd think to yourself that the food would be good and fresh. It was hot but nothing tasted right, so I returned to the store, walked in, and simply asked for a refund. The person helping me said he needed to consult a manager about my complaint, walked over to the drive thru window and proceeded to talk to someone. He came back and only relayed messages, no manager ever came over to us. Then another employee came and said there was no manager available to do my refund but wrote information on my receipt for a refund and told me to come back the next day when a manager was on duty. I'm handicapped, so quite honestly this is a lot of back and forth for a $25 refund. I came back the following day and spoke to a manager that said he needed a number from the receipt that wasn't visible so he needed to contact home office in order to complete the return but he would call me as soon as he was done. 4 days later! There's still no return and I call the store and state the situation. The person on the phone tells me that my receipt is right there in the office and they did the return. They did not, and I let him know that there was no return on my account. He says he'll call me back but never does. Now when I call, no one answers. If I come in there's no manager on duty. Panda express must be pretty damn desperate for that $25. Yall can have it but your business is bs and your management and employees are trash as well. NO customer service skills whatsoever in the whole place. Just shut it down and only do online ordering, that's about the ambiance you're projecting anyway. Whenever I did go back in the store, we would stand there and wait for at least 5 minutes straight while everyone completely ignored us and catered to the drive thru. Not a glance, a smile, a "we'll be right with you" or a "GFY". NOTHING. 10/10 absolutely do not recommend, nor will I be returning. If you love orange chicken, check out Hop Bo on Palm Bay...
Read moreI've purchased meals for my family here at least once a week for the past few months since we moved into the area, and the quality of the food has progressively gotten worse. Of the four people eating, there's always at least one issue with two people's meals.
The quality of the food is all over the place. More often than not, there's too much breading and not enough actual chicken or beef on items, and in some cases, about half of a two-entree meal will be just breading, or fit, sinew, or cartilage from low-quality cuts.
The chow mein and fried rice always have entirely too many vegetables in them, there's never a brown rice option, and the white rice is either always too hard or too soft.
We're not picky eaters at all. I mean obviously, we're eating overpriced Americanized take-out Chinese food, so we're not that discerning. We understand that fast food is meant to be convenient and not always high-quality, but week after week the food has gotten progressively worse.
Today was the last straw where the orange chicken was nothing but hard bits of breading and what seemed to be cartilage with very little meat at all, and the fried rice was about 75% vegetables.
We didn't just throw an entitled fit after a handful of mistakes, we decided to be patient and deal with multiple attempts to provide a satisfactory experience and this location has consistently failed. We won't be...
Read moreSo not only is the place often unkempt, the service is atrocious. I ordered DoorDash pickup and arrived a few minutes after it said my order was ready. I came in and everyone so focused on their own tasks (there were at least seven employees there, which is a lot for that little place)…they left myself and two other customers just standing at the register dumbly. Then when someone finally comes over she tells me she will look into it and goes back to the line to serve the ONE customer waiting. What about the three other already paid customers waiting for their orders? So a SECOND employee says he will help and is just looking lost. I see my daughters drink with the food trays that match my amount and I’m like “I’m pretty sure that’s mine…”. So the lady grabs it, nasty like she’s mad and is rudely just jamming stuff in. I try to help her with the bag she can’t seem to grab (I didn’t go behind the counter or anything) and she just shoots me a dirty look. Unbelievable how they treat their already paid customers. I only went here because my MIL insisted but this will be the absolute last time I come to this “Chinese” restaurant. If all the decent Chinese places are closed on a Tuesday, I won’t resort to this...
