Let's clear up the confusion about these wishy-washy reviews.
The staff that works the morning shift cares. They have a purpose in life. They cook up in that kitchen and they give napkins AND sauce. If the older black lady is in the drive thru window, you're about to have some good Wendy's. It's fresh, hot. I don't know who's in charge of morning shift but they kill it every time. I've never had a bad lunch here.
However, the night crew is the absolute worst I've ever seen. If you go in the evening, most of the crew is under 22 yo. I've never seen such a group of unhappy young people in my entire life. It's like Wendy's putting ad out "if you hate life and you're unhappy, apply within". They will leave you sitting at the drive thru speaker for between 7 to 11 minutes at a time bc they're by the dumpster smoking weed or whatever they do over there. The dumpster is right by the drive-thru speaker, like come on now. Now, if you work for minimum wage and you're unhappy and you just don't care and you want to do drugs and slack off at work, do you boo. But pick and choose. When there are 6 cars in the drive thru... That's probably not the time to be getting high?
Then, 13 minutes later.. I get my $5 Biggie Bag and it's all cold and my burger is covered in mayo? Like WHO is your dealer bc what in the... Why is my burger wet with mayo? How did this even happen? How is this even possible? You don't want to give me an extra sweet and sour but you just gave me an additional $3 worth of mayo.
Now this is a really unfortunate thing because they are right off of I-95. It would be so easy for this location to bring in big bucks. And I'm sure they bring in a reasonable amount of money anyway because the morning crew is on point every single time.
I don't know who owns this specific branch of this franchise but they really need to get their stuff together. Because this is really crazy.
During lunch, the food is consistently good. During dinner, the food is consistently the worst that I have ever eaten. And the next Wendy's is 13 minutes away because all these Wendy's keep getting shut down. Hmmm 🤔...
Read moreI arrived at Wendy’s around 6:40 pm Sunday evening. I waited in the drive thru for almost 15 minutes before I was able to pull up to the intercom. It took them a bit to acknowledge/greet me, then when they did, I was asked to wait longer before they could take my order. Not a big deal, so I patiently waited.
While waiting I could overheat the conversation 2 employees were having with LOTS of cursing, and swearing from one to the other, OVER THE INTERCOM. Had any children been in the vehicle with me, I would’ve been outraged!
When it came time, I placed my meal order just to find out the item I had been craving they were out of. No baked potatoes 😞 They didn’t offer any info as to when one would be ready, and I imagine they must be cooking more since it’s not even 7pm and they’re open until 1am. The gentleman said, “we’re out.” That didn’t provide much clarification as to whether they’re out completely or just for the time being. Therefore, I asked how much longer until they would have some ready, and they replied saying 20 minutes.
Fast food? I could see if it were close to closing time, but that early on in the day. Very ill prepared. I imagine there’s a quota they must have on-hand ready to go. If you see you are running low, begin to cook what’s needed, as needed. Just a suggestion.
Long time to wait, poor customer service, and they didn’t have what is on the menu available. Drove all that way to give them my business but ended up, driving off empty handed and frustrated. Maybe it wouldn’t have been such a bad ordeal if they stopped having inappropriate conversations and stick to being “fast” food, especially when going through the...
Read moreNow listen. I’m not a person who leaves reviews but this is absolutely ridiculous. First, and this to me didn’t even warrant a bad review it was everything after, I ordered a ten piece spicy nuggets. Y’all had the audacity to put five spicy nuggets on top to hide the five regular ones at the bottom. Like, that had to take some effort, y’all are wrong for that. But you know what? I got over it and I ate it anyway. Guess what happens twelve hours later? The worst stomach pains I’ve ever experienced. Soon after that, nausea, headache, body pain, and diarrhea. I have worked in food service for over ten years and I have my food safety certifications. I know Norovirus when I see it (and in this unfortunate case when I FEEL it). Just know that every time I’ve had to waddle into my bathroom to expel the demons you’ve given me I am cursing your names. Deliberately messing up my order, trying to hide it, and then giving me food that clearly wasn’t properly handled to begin with? Wow. Did y’all have the regular ones sitting out at room temp and figured “well we can just use these so we don’t have to waste out five chicken nuggets” as if it would’ve bankrupted your company to give me fresh food? Or were they just chilling outside of a freezer and you decided to use them anyway? I’m sorry, I’m really trying to put myself in your shoes as a fellow food service worker here because I cannot imagine doing this to someone. I haven’t eaten at a Wendy’s in years and this has just solidified for me that I will never come back again....
