Just Salad — Restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens

I have been looking for a good salad place in the area. I feel like a lot of places are royally hit and miss down here in Florida.

The Find: I randomly came across this place and after reviewing their menu, I decided to give them a shot. I ordered a make your own salad online. Nothing crazy but a salad I would normally gravitate to. In total it came out to $11 and change. I honestly didn't have high expectations with this place since I haven't have much luck with food places down here. I walked in a couple minutes late for when they said my salad would be ready. The people that work here are friendly and welcoming. I said I was here to pick up my online order, gave them my details. I was expecting them to not have it ready, but sure enough it was.

The Salad: The salad felt very light in the bag, so first thought was, this was going to be a over priced tiny salad. However I was mistaken. The eco friendly bowl is deceivingly deep for its size. Everything in the salad tasted fresh, the salad dressing was flavorful yet not overpowering. I found myself surprised how good this salad was.

My "Gripe" with Just Salad I guess my biggest gripe with this place is that they set the bar so high with this salad, I am looking forward to ordering another one tomorrow to test their consistency. Most places down here start off great and slowly but surely drop the ball in quality and consistency. I do hope this establishment is the exception to the rule.

I hope this place is there long term. It is just the place I have been looking for, for when I am craving a good salad.

On vacation from up north so we seen this just salad place & thought we’d try it out bc we love a good salad. I got a build your own with just chicken, cheese, onions, croutons & carrots with buttermilk ranch. Took a few bites & this nasty, over powering & long lasting taste of some weird seasoning or something threw me off & I thought it was the ranch. Spent $25 & took 2 bites of this salad & I just wanted to get my money back bc that’s crazy for a salad with barely any ingredients & a smoothie. Went back in to ask for a refund from the 2 young adults that were already rude & unprofessional when we walked in, the young man went in the back & called his manager then proceeded to tell me they couldn’t give me a refund but could remake my salad without the dressing, ok ya fine I’ll just put my own dressing on it. Came home & the same nasty taste was still all over the salad. My cousin said she believed it was some kind of vinegar or something they use to pickle their onions, well it was the nastiest taste ever. Barely took one bite & tossed that salad out too. I get the healthier aspect but if you’re gonna use Weird spices that people don’t know of, it at least should be listed. I don’t know what it was but it’s making me nauseous cuz it was so gross. I’m upset that I couldn’t even get my money back, almost $18 just for the salad alone. I also see how many employees were praised but whoever worked tonight needs to learn customer service. The young lady was just quiet & snarky the whole time, no smile, no Thankyou for her tip, just downright rude. I wish there was a way to receive my money back for the nasty salad & rude service. I love this place! Love having a fresh, organic, responsible place to eat! The cafe itself is bright and clean with a cool ocean mural. We tried several of the bowls--Harvest, Farmers Basket, Teriyaki Chicken, and a Chicken Fajita. All them were delicious and filling. If you've got kids who don't like peppers or onions, you may want to ask to keep them out. We picked a LOT of peppers out. Big shout out to Tricia and Matthew for being patient with customers who have to wait until we reach the counter to get a good look at the details of dressings, sides, and bowl ingredients. They were pleasant and patient with questions of what proteins were what. Ordering would be so much more efficient if there was signage or menus to look over details BEFORE people approached the counter. LOVE the carbon footprints alongside the calorie count.
