Food was alright, the first problem was when we arrived, went in at around 8:55 which is an hour before closing and my partner and I knew we wanted to be quick and easy for them, the waiter aneyiah first asked us if we are getting take out without even mentioning dine in, we had thought that was the only option but I asked if it was possible to do dine in and her manager had let us know that yes we can dine in they weren’t closing yet, we sat and knew what we wanted right away to make it easier for them, she took our order and had asked us what we wanted to drink but never gave us our drinks we had to ask the manager if we could have our drinks, the food arrived and the it looked alright, she cleaned the whole time without coming up to us one time and when she finished she came up to us and said now that I’m done cleaning how can I help you, she didn’t help us with anything didn’t ask if we wanted a refill or how’s the food nothing, the atmosphere and vibe was terrible. Then 5 minutes go by and we had to ask for a refill and the look on her face made it seem like we were bothering her, we had brushed it off and continued eating then we had asked for a box and she isn’t coming over or anything she’s talking to us from 5 tables down saying for what3x and we had to say for the food, she gave us the bag and asked us if we wanted anything before the kitchen closed, we said no and payed our meal, the manager asked us if we wanted to leave a review and as we are talking to him and even after everything we were gonna leave a 5 star review just to be nice and they had offered us 10 percent off next visit she then had the nerve to turn to us and ask if she helped us and did anything to offend us and I just look at my partner because I knew where she was trying to go, we said no she did good and kept trying to leave a review while the manager is talking to us then she said are you guys sure because I’m looking at the check and instead of saying anything crazy I turned to her and asked her what’s wrong with the check, and she saying nothing wrong with the check I didn’t mean to offend you but she asked because we didn’t tip her “well enough” but truly she didn’t deserve a tip she was lucky to be getting anything at all, only reason we tipped is because we have restaurant experience and have known the business for a while so we believe in tipping, I was about to asked for my tip back because now the service was terrible and on top of that she’s asking us in the restaurant basically why we didn’t tip her more, never again are we going there , the one by Nazareth hwy is much better and wish everyone else who decide to come here goodluck with the service
On top of everything while taking my card the phone starts ringing and she says I’m not answering that we are basically closed and when the manager mentions they missed a call she pretends to not know about it and we are just trying to hold our laugh because she was the most ridiculous waiter we...
Read moreI've been going here for a couple of years now. Once every 6-8 weeks.
Two people, an app and two huge meals under $100 for top grade seafood? A true bargain. I couldn't buy an equivalent amount of seafood from a local food store for the same $$, nor would it be of this quality, plus it's cooked and served.
Any place I go, if they have fried calamari in the menu, it's usually my go to appetizer. This place is 9.5/10 every time, soooo good. Theres only one other place I frequent where it can be just slightly better, but that place is inconsistent. Here, I've NEVER had a bad experience.
The portions are huge. Granted, I usually get a full pound of the green muscles, and a full pound of the headless shrimp. OMG. It's so damn good, I will often stuff my face and this will be my only meal for the day. When I can control myself, I take half of it home and have an equally awesome second meal. Highly recommend the Cajun / medium for an authentic seafood boil experience. But all of the flavors are awesome and the 'special' is the other options all combined. Sometimes just a touch too salty, but the sal generally falls to the bottom and is easy to avoid.
Service is constantly fast, always friendly, never rushed or pushed out the door, and drinks are always refilled before they are empty.
I go on Saturdays around lunch time, and it's common to see the fresh batch of seafood coming in through the door. It's that fresh
Seafood boils are not the cheapest dining option in general, but if you are looking for a top shelf seafood experience, whether that be lobster, crab, mussels, clams, shrimp, oysters, calamari - I can personally attest to this being the hands down best place in the entire area. I'd put the meal quality against places twice the price and still chose here over any of them
The garlic noodles are an absolute must add on to any seafood boil dish. Don't skip them, they bring the whole meal next level!
If there was one menu item I would not personally recommend, it would be the sausage. It's more like a kielbasa like you'd find inal a gumbo, but for me the flavor doesn't work well with the seafood. Truly the only menu item I could not recommend, and not because it's bad, just my personal opinion the flavor doesn't work with everything else.
If it's a great seafood boil experience you're looking for, THIS is the place. There are others in the area, but I don't even try them any more, they are all inconsistent. This Flaming Crab is hands...
Read moreI wish I could give The Flaming Crab in Easton zero stars. We went for a birthday dinner and ordered the most expensive seafood boil on the menu, expecting a great experience. Instead, from the moment we walked in, the service was terrible.
Our waitress Ashley was rude and unaccommodating, acting as if she didn’t want to be there or hated her job. When we asked for more bread, she was hesitant, making it seem like we were asking for too much—even though we would have gladly paid for it. The soda cups were dirty, which was already off-putting.
We ordered the lobster bisque, which tasted like it came straight from a jar and was served cold. The seafood boil, which cost $200, was supposed to be served in a flaming pan, but instead, it was brought out on a regular plate because they were “out of them”—so our food was already cold when it arrived.
The worst part? When we asked for crab crackers to open the crab legs and lobster claws, we were told they didn’t have any left—even though the restaurant only had two other tables occupied. We sat there waiting for 15 minutes before the manager finally brought out five brand-new crackers. By that point, we were beyond frustrated because our food had gone completely cold.
At that point, we decided we’d had enough. We paid for what we had eaten and left. As we were walking out, the same rude waitress Ashley had the audacity to say, “Enjoy the rest of your birthday,” after completely ruining the experience.
The manager was polite, but overall, this restaurant was the biggest disappointment. The service was awful, the food was cold, and the staff was unprofessional. I would never eat here again and do not recommend...
