I have been going to Chicken Kitchen for over 15 years, I love their food, but the price and constant $1 here $2here is very misleading. Let me explain⌠for example I have always ordered a âSmallâ Tropichop. Last two times I went in I kept noticing how on the menu a âbuild your ownâ is $8.39 and my total was always $17 on average, the first times I let it go, than I decided to call the manager who was very kind and understanding and explained to me what was going onâŚ. So for people to not get upset âthe employees no longer mention, that EACH TOPPING IS $1 MOREâ! .. I have been âbuilding my own tropichop, using ANY and as many toppings as I liked thinking it was (INCLUDED) and because (the employees didnât give me a heads up, I end up with a $20 small sized bowlâ it gets worst⌠I took the time to study the menu and decided that the Mexican Chop chop is the Closest bowl I liked without âadding $1 toppings) I figured great ill order the $11.49 small mexican chop chop and substitute the sour cream and lettuce for 2 other toppings I preferred.. and technically Im not adding two I am SUBSTITUTING⌠right away the employee told me âI canât substitute any toppingsâ and that was the final straw.. that really pissed me off, When you go to the cashier, they only include 2 yellow curry per meal! They do not give free refills, and now charge you for ABSOLUTELY anything.. even the apple juice is over priced.. In my head Im like WOW this at the end of the say is a âsmallâ bowl .. For now, Pollo Tropical will be my new spot. Most locations have drive thru, most of the times the employees are nice and say âhello welcomeâ and give you free substitutions on toppings and UNLIMITED YELLOW CURRY!! I need at least 4-5 ! Especially if they are not filled up the whole way !! I really didnât want to write a negative review but the these prices and pressure to tip is getting out of hand. People wake up, I have seen so many people in front of me just âpayâ whatever the cashier says after asking the price again for 2-3 bowls.. but because they dont want to make a scene they just pay.. please think twice...

So I come to this location today during lunch time and was appalled by the worst customer service I have ever received in my life! I pull up to the shopping center and when looking for parking I realize my baby had fallen asleep in the back seat. I manage to find parking literally right in front of their door. So I called the restaurant and speak to a young woman. I explain to her that I am calling to place an order, but that I am parked right in front of their door with a sleeping baby in the car. I proceeded to ask her if she could take my order and then have someone meet me at their door so I could quickly run out and grab it. She asks me what my order was and so I tell her. When I tell her what kind of sauce I want she answers me with âwell since youâre picking up, I can give you the 2 containers and you can serve yourself the sauce.â And I said âyeah but I canât go inside your store to do that because I donât want to leave a sleeping baby in the car. Can you please just give me some already in the containers?â Her answer was âI really donât have time for that right now because Iâm really busy.â So I ask her âbut donât you make deliveries and provide those orders with sauces already put into containers?â And her answer was âyeah but youâre not a delivery, youâre picking up.â
ARE YOU SERIOUSLY KIDDING ME?!?!??
I told her to forget about my order, hung up and drove away. NEVER, EVER will this Chicken Kitchen get any business from me again and I will make sure to tell everyone about my...
Read moreMy recent experience at Chicken Kitchen was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, the service was prompt, and the food surpassed all expectations.
I ordered two Kids Chop-Chops, a Regular Chop-Chop, and a Regular Chop-Chop with cilantro rice. Each dish was meticulously prepared and bursting with flavor. The chicken was perfectly grilledâjuicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. The rice was fluffy and fragrant, with the cilantro-infused variety offering a refreshing and vibrant twist.
The portions were generous yet well-balanced, and even the Kids Chop-Chops were delightfully satisfying. What truly impressed me was the consistency in quality across all the mealsâevery bite was as delicious as the last.
In a world where fast-casual dining often falls short, Chicken Kitchen stands out as a paragon of excellence. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking flavorful, wholesome meals...
