Stretch Zone — Local services in Palmetto Bay

I was very excited to try Stretch Zone in Palmetto Bay especially after hearing from two individuals how great of an experience it was. They both visited the Cutler Bay location, however, I opted for Palmetto Bay and I 100% regret it. I was met by Mr. Kumar, who sat me down to begin my initial consultation. During that conversation, he was enjoying a cup of tea in front me which I thought to lack some professionalism, but I did not pay any mind to it. We began the stretch session and he was very observant of my needs and communicated his findings well. After the stretch, it was time for me to make a decision on membership. I expressed to him that I needed to consult with my husband before pursuing a membership. He immediately displayed some frustration, folded his hands behind his head, lost eye contact with me, and said, "Why are you going to make your health someone else's responsibility?" I was completely caught off guard and I responded, "Excuse me?" He proceeded with the same accusation of me making my health my husband's priority. I said to him that if I do not have the money there is no way that I can begin a membership because you will not allow me services free of charge. He then said, "When you want hair and nails don't you go and get it?" I became very frustrated at his arrogance and boldness and replied, "My lifestyle is my husband's responsibility and he deserves to know what expenses i am accruing." As I am writing this review, I am furied at the time that I wasted in conversation with him, and at the fact of me feeling as though I needed to explain myself. He continued on with his rant and I refused to listen. I said, "Well, I still feel the same way." as I grabbed my keys and began to leave. He said, "Okay, then we are all done." I got up and left. It truly was a horrible experience to have your means of finances questioned and debated upon. I cannot speak for any other location, but I have a complete distaste with this...

I initially had a positive experience with Stretch Zone. However, it really upsets me that I tried to cancel the membership & there isn’t an option to do so using the online account. I called to ask about cancellation & did exactly what I was told to do. I sent an email with details I was told to include, but there was no response to that email & no follow-up call, like I was told. I called the store twice since then & asked to speak with a manager. I was told “the manager was busy and would return my call both times. No call was returned. I was also told after providing details on when the email was sent that someone started working on it. I initially thought this was a good idea & would benefit me. I included the screenshot of a response to another review from 1 of the owners. I literally had 2 stretch sessions at Stretch Zone & 1 was the initial “free stretch” offer. If your business is “committed to providing high-quality customer service,” what is your explanation for this? No one handled this matter properly or with any level of competence. Look at the disgusting response from the owner, referring to a paying customer as an animal! I paid for a 90 day membership and only 2 of those services were used. One of the 2 services was a late cancellation penalty. Your cancellation policy is deceptive & complicated for no reason. It is very much like those gym memberships…which those places hopefully updated their policies due to consumer...

• Update* I have still been coming and getting my stretches at least twice a month and boy oh boy how I can’t express that this is something that needs to remain a constant in my life… thank you to the entire team and especially Renzo who has helped me stay mobile!

So I was having a conversation with a friend on how my body just aches… I’m old…I need to stretch… and wouldn’t you know it on Facebook the very next day I see an ad for a free session at this place called Stretch zone. I was like what kinda place is this? So I clicked on it for my free session. I went in and had my first initial assessment with Sachin. After carefully going through the concept and how the place worked he went to work on me for 1/2 hour… and than past me onto Hector which completed my session. OMG … it was the weirdest feeling in my legs!! I have next to no flexibility and I’m not joking… about half way through I started to feeling like this cold weird sensation down my legs all the way to my toes!! The blood was starting to flow back into my legs… it was insane… when I got off the table I felt awesome… so much so I brought my husband the next day and we both had a session done today. Ed worked on my husband and once again Hector was by my side! Honestly I know how to stretch…I’m a black belt in TKD… but having someone else stretch you is next level!! I’ll definitely be telling everyone about...
