Cuban Guys Restaurants - Palmetto Bay — Restaurant in Palmetto Bay

I’ve never been to a Cuban Guys restaurant. In my mind, why would I check out a Cuban restaurant, if there’s plenty of other Cuban restaurant chains throughout Miami-Dade? Welp, now I see why. It’s definitely a fast food restaurant, BUT it’s definitely better than your normal fast food restaurants (I.e McDonalds or BK). The best way I can describe it, is that it’s operated like a fast food restaurant, but then when you get your food, it doesn’t look like fast food restaurant food. Just better.

I came here for the Yelp Latino Heritage Celebration and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I mean they had a BOGO on their Vaca Frita (shredded steak) sandwich! Ya boy was ready to feast and my daughter loved it too. Also had to add a Materva, because of course. Not even a big soda drinker either, but hey, when in Rome…or Pinecrest.

Customer service was impressive. They were pretty swamped and handled everything with ease and professionalism actually. They did great and deserve...

So so so happy that a Cuban Guy open in my neighborhood. Their Cuban fritas are a-amazing. They are on point. Their banana chips "mariquitas" with the garlic dipping sauce. And i just tried their vaca frita sandwich. Melts in my mouth. And please dont get me started on their dulce de leche churros and their bungelos which brought back memories of my Cuban Grandma making me them for Christmas and giving me extras just for me. Their food are delicious. Staff super friendly especially the lady who takes the orders. She is super friendly. Always trying to get customers not to forget dessert and i never do. Again i am so happy i dont have to drive to kendall anymore to get their food. So you can dine in. Or pickup. Shopping center...

Will not be ordering from here any longer. Every time I order I also tip well (thinking that my order will be correct and it never is).

I got a stomach bacteria once from eating a salad (lettuce and tomato) being in the hospital over a bacteria from eating a salad has left me traumatized from eating lettuce and tomato. When I say I want my steak sandwich without lettuce and tomato-this is why.

Although I select no lettuce, no tomato when I make my order, every single time I have ordered I receive lettuce and tomato (and not what I requested instead: grilled onions and stick fries).

I wanted to blame it on a language barrier but the word NO means the same thing in Spanish. Please actually read...
