Giardino Gourmet Salads — Local services in Palmetto Bay

Terrible service! I ordered to pick up the other day and I was told my food would be ready at 2:20 PM; when I got there at 2:20, I had to wait for someone else's order to be finished, so I did. When the person in front of me was done at 2:30, they asked me for my name to see if my order was ready and they then told me they had not started it yet. After they told me my that, someone else came in and ordered; they prepared that woman's order prior to mine. At this point it was already 2:35 and I asked them why my order had not been ready 15 minutes ago like the website had told me, the response was "the website is wrong" which INFURIATED me. Finally, five minutes later, 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready, they finally gave me my food. The reason I ordered online was because I did not want to be inside a restaurant due to the fact there is a pandemic but I ended up standing there for 20 minutes which is unacceptable, they took a different person's order before mine (who got there after I did), and they made a dumb excuse up for why my order was not ready when it was supposed to be. Salads are delicious I’ve been coming here for years! But, unfortunately it had happened several times in the past few months already in the Palmetto Bay location, where I show up 30-40 minutes before they’re supposed to close on that day, and everyone’s already gone with all the lights off.... really irritating since this is a great salad place, I just wish they’d keep their word at that location for closing time so that I don’t have to waste gas to find out when I get there starving.. seems unprofessional to me, owner should probably work on this with...

Diane the employee is amazing. Hurry and get your salad from her before she starts moving up in life in success because this girl is a huge asset to this location. Not only did she make me feel like a celebrity walking in, but she guided me through the menu, recommended certain proteins and toppings and dressings and was so courteous and professional.
