P.F. Chang's — Restaurant in Palo Alto

I was very excited to come to P.F. Chang’s and try the food. I have heard great things of this restaurant, so on Friday, January 31, 2020 around 7:45pm I decided to stop by and order to go to celebrate my birthday. The waitress was very nice. I can’t remember her name, but I remember she was very busy. I waited about an hour to get my order. While I was waiting for my order to be ready, a customer complained to the kitchen manager Luis about the waiting time. I knew coming here that my order was going to take a long time because the cooks make everything from scratch. What I was not expecting was to be traumatized by the kitchen manager. After the customer made the complaint, Luis, the kitchen manager went to the kitchen and started cussing at the cooks and throwing F words at them. Telling them that they were taking a long time to get the food ready. He then continued throwing trades on the floor. He looked like he was going crazy. The waitresses looked scared. I was super afraid too and just wanted to leave. I was about to run away when my waitress brought my order. She was trying to give me some fortune cookies while all of these was going on. Thankfully a waiter hold Luis the manager against the wall and told him to come down. Then Luis started laughing like nothing had happened. I left the place. I was super AFRAID and I will NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE! If Luis is a manager, he should learn to talk to other employees and probably take anger management classes. If I was working for P.F. Chang’s I would sue this company. Poor employees, they must really need this job to work under these conditions where their mental health is being affected. I would suggest the partner to look at the cámaras. The time was 8:45. Please if you are considering coming too this place, DON’T COME. The food is not worth it and you might get a trade...

Post Covid Dine-in experience

This is a great upscale "Americanized" Chinese food restaurant chain and the Stanford location is wonderful. We came here for dinner and were impressed with the taste of the food, the wonderful customer service, and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Some Covid restrictions are still in place, but our dine-in experience was great. Details to follow:

[The Food] We love PF Changs' food. We're a fan of Americanized Chinese food - and PF Changs brings the quality up a notch. It's food that you can eat and not feel so terrible afterwards. The chicken was crispy, the soup had great flavor, and the food was hot as soon as we received it. Great menu selections and we were happy!

[Customer Service] Customer service here was also great. The team greets you at the door and you're quickly seated. Our server was really nice and had a positive demeanor. They also bring you a hot clothe at the beginning as well which is nice. We were checked on often and felt appreciated being there!

[The Location] This is located right outside the Stanford Shopping center. There is plenty of parking because of this. You can see the restaurant right next to El Camino Real. It's a safe location, easy to get to, and there's plenty of seating and parking. Don't expect to wait too long here.

I had an outstanding dining experience at PF Chang's, and I must say that the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Burak, truly made the evening memorable. From the moment we were seated, Burak exuded warmth and professionalism, immediately making us feel welcome.
