This is without a doubt the best salad place in Palo Alto. The food is usually great and prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is well kept. I order a custom salad for lunch from here at least twice a week.

I'm leaving a three star review, because while Sprout may make the best salads, their consistency is terrible. 7 out of the past 9 times I've ordered from here, I haven't received what I wanted. They frequently forget premium ingredients (i.e. cheeses and nuts), occasionally give incorrect ingredients, have given me smalls when I've ordered regular sized salads, and have never have never given consistent amounts of dressing. That being said, they are always more than happy to correct their mistakes when prompted. I finally felt prompted to leave a review after my last visit where later in the evening the greens were slightly wilted.

I will continue eating at Sprout frequently, but a message to the staff: You make great food, but please get your act together and learn to follow...

Great place to get variety of sandwiches, salads, sides and soups. Servers are very nice and keep checking to make sure one is comfortable. Indoors is very spacious and artistic. I love their infused water. I got spicy chicken sandwich and a salad, it was delicious. I keep coming back to this place. Prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants at University avenue. Surrounding are nice and vibrant. Plenty street parking available and there are extra open parking and garages available for free on weekends and 2-3 hours parking on weekdays. Update: I have been going to this cafe from a while. It’s at a prime location and car needs to be parked in nearby parking lots. I have tried sandwiches and salads at this place, they are always full of flavors, fresh and delicious. Don’t forget to get the fruit...

I am mildly hearing impaired but it's very difficult for me in loud spaces and it gets very loud at lunch so I normally ask about my order instead of hoping to hear and understand the people calling out names. Twice now they have dismissed me when I've asked when I thought my order was ready, I end up waiting a long time, continuing to ask, and eventually someone will finally give me the order that has been sitting there. When I ask why I wasn't given it previously, they just condescendingly tell me it was called out. I point out I'm hard of hearing and can't understand them so that's why I ask and instead of an apology for the mistake, they go even further in mocking me about how they called out "several times." I like the food but I can't say enough negative things about the...

Table service at Sunday brunch and expertly prepared eggs, steak, waffles and pancakes belies the label of “deli”. My first sip of hot coffee in a bottomless cup won me over. A California Omelette was expertly cooked, tender eggs folded over generous helpings of mushrooms and spinach, topped with sliced fresh avocado. The dish was accompanied by a fresh arugula and radish salad dressed with lemon vinaigrette and crispy fried potatoes with fresh tomato salsa. The levain bread (sourdough) had a crispy crust and bubbly middle. The slightly malty taste makes me think there is some rye flour in it. Service was friendly, attentive, and quick. I can’t make any suggestions for improvement. This was exactly what I was looking for.
