Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Paradise

In CA we were so mistreated at a Olive Garden, I swore I would never enter another one. Today was my birthday and my granddaughters chose Olive Garden. I consented. This restaurant, this server, this cook, WOW, service was so superior! First of all, we had possibly the best waitress I've ever met! Christine!! 10+ yrs ago, there was a dish I loved but they discontinued. I shared it with her, she remembered it, and went to talk to the cook. He knew exactly what it was!! He prepared it for me for my birthday meal!! What amazing people!! I wish I had thought to ask what the cooks name was!! It was so delicious!! Then Christine never let anything run out, she refilled drinks and brought more breadsticks before we missed them on the table!! I was with my daughter and 3 young granddaughters!! She was just amazing!! Then she asked my granddaughters what to choose for dessert for me!! I threw in the suggestion of tiramasu. She stood with my family and sang happy birthday to me, she was so kind and thoughtful, and when we gushed our thanks to her, and complimented her fantastic service, she wished me a happy birthday again, hugged me, and invited us back any time, with humility even said, if she's not there, there were many great servers there happy to help us. Hey everybody, Christine is server of the year in my book, and because of her giving us possibly the best sincere service I can remember, I hope she gets a raise and has been paid well, although she could never earn her worth as a server. Las Vegas location on Flamingo, just west of Eastern Ave. If you ever come here, make sure you go eat at this Olive Garden and ask for her!! You will not be disappointed in any way!! Thank you to the unnamed cook too, he managed to replicate a great meal, sadly to say, they no longer offer on the menu. But it was so delicious, my tastebuds and tummy were thrilled!! COME VISIT...

My partner and I have a tradition of ordering Olive Garden To Go for Valentine’s Day and enjoying the night at home. We ordered our food in advance and scheduled the pick up for 7pm. I arrived to pick up the order a couple minutes after 7 and checked in online. After 15 minutes of waiting, I called to make sure that the online check in worked. After another 30 minutes (total at this point of about 45 minutes) of waiting I called again to check on the order status and was told it would be out any minute. I then called a third time after an hour and of waiting, was told “the kitchen is… running… a little… behind… but it should only be another 10 minutes.” (This is now an hour and 10 minutes of waiting for a to go order). Shorty after someone arrived at my window and asked who I was and how long I’d been waiting. I told them and they responded with “well it is a 3 hour wait had you not already been here… sorry for the wait though.” Finally at a total wait time of an hour and 40 minutes they arrived with the food. It was cold to the touch and had obviously been sitting for quite a while. After getting home, reheating, and eating some, it had no flavor and the fettuccine alfredo we ordered tasted (and looked) as though it was simply butter and heavy cream with no seasoning and the noodles were undercooked. When I called to speak to a manager, I asked for a refund due to the wait time and was told that refunds were not being issued and I would need to contact corporate....

Service was real slow, but okay. It was 3 PM when we got there and it was just about empty. Table of 5 with all pasta dishes, salad, trio app (salad and apps were served together, which was perfect) and teas (took a good 20 mins at least before we were served our drinks from when we ordered). Sat there for a good 10 mins before we were even greeted by the server. We had time to choose our orders and ordered it all at the same time (as a server I appreciated that). Table of 5 and was served 3 bread sticks, asked for more and never got any because they were still making them each time we asked about it (don't know how long that takes, must be longer than an hour)No special requests just right off the menu and we didnt get out till a little past 6. Asked for silverware from a manager that brought out food to another table, he never brought it (or have someone bring it)! There are always 2 forks in their settings, so it worked out. If we weren't waiting on the to go orders and boxes we would of paid and left 30 mins prior to when we left (We were going to order desserts, but we were scared we might be there till 10). Server was hardly in our area, it was almost like the hostess sat us in a closed station. Another manager sat across from us interviewing and she was oblivious to us sitting there for a whole interview she had with no drinks or food. 3 stars because the food was still good, service was still professional (just not timely), and I had food to go (just no...
